  1. Riley is a Yinzer’s wet dream. Match made in heaven.
  2. Their WR room stinks. He could see a lot of touches early. Pretty nice landing spot in an organization that is historically well-ran.
  3. Your scout is realism and everyone else’s is…what exactly?
  4. Doubt the Niners are getting tricked into thinking they just drafted a burner here. If that’s what we’re using to call this a horrible pick, then give me a break. They drafted a back that’s strong as an ox with good vision, and is a really good pass protector. “Would still be there in the 6th round” lol good grief. If you’d like to see a horrible 49ers draft pick, take a look at De’Zhaun Stribling at 33.
  5. Round 3?! Holy hell that is awesome.
  6. PLEASE STOP DRAFTING IU PLAYERS
  7. “We threw to our 4 tight ends combined less than Indiana threw to Riley Nowakowski who, by the way, their staff transformed from a forgotten H-back/glorified tackle into an NFL draft pick. You’ll love it here!”
  8. I think I’d rather my new organization not be notoriously horrendous, with a 2nd year coach who’s probably on his way to being a DC again, and hoping Geno Smith gets me the ball than live somewhere cool. Outside of Green Bay, it’s pretty good to be an NFL player lifestyle-wise no matter where you end up. The Jets suck and don’t look to be improving any time soon.
  9. That……..ugh. Happy for him.
  10. Saw him falling and knew he was going to fall into the Bears’ lap. I’ve only ever seen him get destroyed by IU, so my expectations are low. Hopefully Roman Hemby doesn’t get drafted within the division.
  11. He survives! Send our guy to Buffalo.
  12. Omar’s chances of going to a legit contender are increasing by the minute. Unfortunately Cleveland is probably licking their chops at 24.
  13. Pulled from The Beast, but I had thought it was patellar also.
  14. Brugler has him as a 3-tech, which I can see. ACL/no pre-draft process hurts.
  15. Have waited until today to comb through Dane Brugler's The Beast. Kind of a yearly tradition for me. I'll provide his positional rank/draft ranges for each of our guys. 11 draftable grades. Nutty. Fernando - 1/1OA Black - 10/5th-6th Round Hemby - 16/7th round Vanhorse - 143/UDFA Cooper - 5/1st-2nd round (mocked 16OA to the Jets in his final mock) Sarratt - 12/2nd-3rd round EJ Williams - 60/UDFA Jonathan Brady - 68/UDFA Nowakowski - 14/5th Round Staes - 124/UDFA Benson - 29/UDFA Coogan - 10/6th-7th Round Kamara - 34/7th Round Wyatt - 100/UDFA Daley - 36/UDFA Ratcliff - 62/UDFA Fisher - 13/5th Round Ponds - 6/2nd Round Boykin - 51/UDFA Moore - 19/6th-7th Round
  16. But let's jump on the kid coming off an ACL with an unrelated degenerative knee because he had a good year of tape and nice measurements.
  17. They aren't the Bengals, but I wonder if this is still a pay raise from the notoriously cheap Pacers.
  18. "Our final number was closer to 15 million than 40 million." -Cig Makes me think @Pagoda's estimates in that 22 area (correct me if I'm wrong, just going off memory) are pretty close to accurate.
  19. We also suffer from Battered Woody Syndrome because 99% of the time, things on the inside aren't adversarial to the point that this would even be a consideration. Under Woody, it felt like they might have been.
  20. We could never win another game and the pure joy the past 20 months have brought me would make every cent I’ve poured into this program in that span and before worth it.
  21. I don’t buy for a second the assertion that IU’s scheme is vanilla. It’s very much not. Maybe I’m misunderstanding him. Do Gracie Bear’s boys pound you into submission physically and with flawless technique? Yes. Is it complex and leaves you guessing pre and post snap? Also yes. If Ty knew what they were actually doing before 5 broke him in half he may have thrown for more than 60 yards or whatever. The only thing he knew was coming was pain.
  22. Gracie Bear simply won’t put up with that s**t.
  23. Props to him for taking the L like a champ, but if his takeaway from that game was “they don’t do anything special and I knew exactly what I was seeing all day” …? Yikes. That’s not an accurate representation at all. Nor is it a good look for him or DeBoer.
