It's either because I didn't read the books, or because I watched the series years after it ended, but I feel like one of a very small group of people that didn't really mind the last couple seasons of GOT. It was a little goofy, but still overall enjoyable for me. It certainly didn't ruin my life like it seemed to for the diehards of the series.

I really feel like Adam Silver's tenure is circling the drain. Between the tanking (which I don't think is nearly as big of a deal as the discourse is making it out to be) and the general direction the league is going...things aren't great. Fining us while allowing whatever the hell is happening in Sacramento is a friggin' joke.

I see the vision.

I've seen some questions about what we'll do to honor the title team within the stadium bowl and have been mulling it over for a while. I created a few rough ideas on the only obvious place I think it can go, where everyone in the stadium can see it. 1) Probably the most likely, but my least favorite is a simple banner. Easy to hang, edit for any future titles, refresh when needed, but doesn't really jive with the architecture and limestone vibe throughout the stadium. 2/3) This is two versions of the same idea. One a simple limestone engraving that keeps consistency with other engravings around the perimeter of the facility and another engraving, but this time with the CFP and IU logos enriched with some color. The only other idea I could come up with, and it doesn't do the accomplishment justice imo, is a smaller secondary flag to fly under the American Flag during games. Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on the best way to throw in every visitor's face that we just won a natty.

McDavid goes back to being my King on Wednesday but the look on his face as he’s handed a congratulatory Beanie Baby made me laugh out loud.

US surviving a long 5 on 3 coupled with Canada surviving a 4-minute PP later on is pretty insane. US PK went 100% in the Olympics. Hell of a defensive group.

That was simply the best hockey game I’ve ever seen. Incredible.

3-on-3 is supremely unfair against Canada. Going to take a special effort from somebody here.

You kill off a 90 second 2-man advantage against that group and you start to feel like it may be your day.

I’m really impressed with Zona today. Beating Houston at their own game is tough to do.

St. Johns playing in MSG is cool, but holy crap they never use the same floor twice and it’s always a mish mash between SJ logos and whatever the Knicks played on last. Today’s is particularly disgusting.
