(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

And self has won his conference every year for a decade and a half. Hell of a coach. -
Gotcha!! I didn’t read far enough back to get all of the context....my bad doc

(2019) SF Keion Brooks Jr. to Kentucky

Definitely not a guy that comes in changes your program single handedly but he’s a very good player that can really shine if you pair him with talent. I’d love to have him and TJD playing Archie’s pack line. The length and athleticism in the front court would be insane. -
This drives me nuts! Simmons is a great player but if you can’t shoot the ball, your team has a major weakness. That LSU team was so 1 dimensional. Romeo and this class brings length and perimeter shooting. I generally agree with your takes on nearly every topic but feel like you’re using a false equivalency here. Romeo is a scorer...which we desperately need and adding Romeo to the mix makes our team dramatically better imho.

“Everyone saw what he was gonna be after his freshman season.” Well at least I know to never take anything you say seriously.....ever... that statement was so far from reality, guy. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

Honestly, Devonte Green is who I personally see as Archie’s true litmus test. If he can make Green into a consistent player, then he’s got the goods. This is just what I’m paying attention to. He’s certainly going to have competition next year. That should help. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app

I’m predicting this is Romeo’s last high school game. Warren size and overall depth too much for New Albany. Romeo has a big game. -

I am one of those who thinks we are much better next season regardless of whether we add him or not. We are bringing in some missing pieces and will have some talented veterans to lead them. A lot hinges on whether Deron Davis makes a full recovery. If he does, and we add Romeo, then yes, I do believe we can make a final four. Having an NBA ready guard can do wonders for your team in March. -

Kansas.....bc IU can’t have nice things and Kansas is the clear choice if he wants to compete for a title in his 1 year. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app -

Speaking for myself here but I’m completely up in the air, in terms of where I think he’s going. My gut told me Vandy for awhile and now I’m not so convinced that’s where he ends up. The closer this thing gets to ending, the more I think it’s really between IU and KU. -

Already visited. And if he wasn’t gonna go, wouldn’t he have eliminated them from contention by now? Goes both ways. -

I agree. If this is true, I can’t blame him for wanting a chance to win a title in his short stint. -

A rumor going around that Austin Etherington told some people that’s archie has informed his staff he will be attending Kansas...... like I said. Wanted to see if others have heard the same thing. I’m not sure I believe anything after the past 3 years of wild speculation and many claiming to have sources. It is odd how Kansas has zero buzz around this recruitment but Self has been visiting Romeo himself. -

100% positive. Concerning that he’s not watching Romeo........not to start a wildfire but I can’t be the only one who has heard the rumor about what Austin Etherington has told some folks, am I? -
I don’t think I’ve ever been so relieved to see a season end early. This season has been exhausting as a fan.

Lol. Anyone else noticing how well Rutgers has scouted our offensive sets? Their point guard called them out to the rest of his teammates and they got consecutive steals from playing the passing lanes. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Well said. I agree completely. My level of calm, during a year of struggle, is at an all time high. The guy can flat out coach and it’s only a matter of time before he gets talent in Bloomington. -

Proposed Statement of Culpability From Indiana University

Not sans pickles... total deal breaker for me. Must have dill or I eat nill. -
Remember when bumper sticker purchases before you were born warranted 8 game suspensions??? Those were the days.

Maintaining deniable culpability or plausible deniability ..... some are better at it than others.
