  1. Nice! Although, IU alumni includes the infamous Jim Jones of the Jonestown Massacre.
  2. If Smith’s skill development is further along than I expect than we are in for a really special year... can’t wait to watch. This is the most excited I’ve been for an IU season since the 2013 season.
  3. Impressed with him during his time with Minnesota d-1 but I remember him at Pangos Camp and he reminded me of Juwan Morgan. Super skilled and has really good size. Love Smith. Think he’s a huge piece but he doesn’t have the skill Race has. Smith is a much better athlete and has huge upside. I just like guys who can dribble, pass, and shoot. They contribute much faster. I’m not sure how they compare defensively. I know Race is noticeably bigger than Smith.
  4. As good as Smith is and will be, I believe Race is a better player.
  5. I’m telling you guys..... Race Thompson is really really good. No one is talking about him. He’s bigger than Smith, can handle, pass, Lead the break, rebound, and shoot. Dude is a stud. I’m guessing he’s a starter by B1G or getting starter minutes by then.
  6. She’s going to be 5 years old soon and is starting to develop a love for basketball. I’ve also trained her that we are Indiana Hoosiers and that the blue team is ucky.
  7. I really want him to leave Cleveland! There’s 2 reasons, primarily. 1.) get him out of the east (I’m a Pacers fan) 2.) I cannot stand the Warriors and want him to join with Houston, or form a formidable squad, out west, to dethrone GS.
  8. Big time recruiting win. I’ve always felt like Indiana Women’s Basketball is a potential giant. Our base recognizes and supports good basketball, regardless of sex. Lost in the hoopla about the men’s talent that this state produces, is the fact that we produce some STUD women ball players. I welcome a comepetitive women’s team. My daughter would embrace them immediately.
  9. Carsen Edwards
  10. Bummer. If this is true then I hope he’d notify the staff right away so that they can focus their efforts elsewhere.
  11. This is being blown way out of context. With that said...... it feels good to be playing in the big boy playground.
  12. Yeah not very well thought out on my part. I can admit defeat.
  13. What I’m saying is that Brooks is closer to Williams than Durant. Williams was actually a good passer. 3.1 assists per 40. And yes he was turnover prone but who wasn’t in Tom Crean’s system? Durant is a once in a lifetime player. Never been a player like him in the game of basketball. Keion shows range but is inconsistent....kind of like....Troy Williams. Similar height, build, athletic ability. Both could handle the ball as a forward and rebound well. Watch a full game of Keion. Troy Williams looks like a world beater from his highlights too. What I’m ultimately getting at is that if you are expecting Keion to come in and have a Durant or Magic like impact, I’m afraid you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. I’d say we’ve had a much better version of Keion in Alan Henderson. I love Keion and really want him in candy stripes but he’s not a program changing guy like Durant, Magic, or even Romeo Langford. He’s the kind of guy that can be a big piece on a contender but he’s gonna need plenty of horses to run with.
  14. I like Keion and think he’s going to do really well but these comparisons are WAYYYYYY off. He’s not anything like Durant or Magic. Durant is 7’ tall and has always shot the 3 well. Not just for 1 weekend. He doesn’t handle and pass as well as most point guards, let alone Magic. Can he move the ball from end to end in transition? Yes. Can he create the same type of separation in half court iso situations like Durant? Not even close. My comparison for Keion as a frosh would be closer to a junior Troy Williams. Not saying he’s the same player but he’s a hell of a lot closer to him than the guys you suggested. I’m not sure if you watch Keion a lot but I do. I watched Romeo Langford utterly dismantle him. He was completely dominated in that game. He couldn’t get ANYTHING other than garbage/scraps. His offensive game needs polishing. He’s getting by on quite a bit of athleticism at the moment. Huge upside but I need to see consistency before I start believing he’s a lottery talent.
  15. Me too. But this worked to our advantage last year with Coach Cal blowing it. It exposed his weaknesses to Romeo and he basically removed them from comsideration immediately afterwards.
  16. Good point. He’s not going to walk into a blue blood program and be able to play like he does on the circuit. Now he might get sold that bill of goods but it won’t be reality. Unless he wants to go to Vanderbilt.
  17. LMAO! He can file that one away with the low-mid major offers he secured when he was an 8th grader. Cute.
  18. My dream class would be TJD, Brooks & Carton..... I’d be ecstatic over TJD, Watford & Lewis though. Brooks, IMO is a better fit for Arch’a style of play. Long, athletic, covers more space on defense.
  19. I’m with you. I see a lot of comments about where he’s at now. I’m bullish on Forrester. I think he’s going to develop into a very solid post player. Eventual B1G Defensive Player of the Year.
  20. Moves really well without the ball. Has a nose for it on the defensive glass. Very very smooth stroke. I’m impressed. He’s going to really help.
  21. Angry and petty towards us is much better for us than being laughed at. Seems like bruised ego’s to me. Can’t wait to watch that program burn to the ground from the FBI investigation.
  22. Don’t mind me....I’m just over here watching Romeo Langford highlights and drinking straight bourbon whiskey. I’m migrating over to the Kansas and Vandy boards next.
  23. You’re a Hoosier... completely normal.
  24. Sheesh..... he’s got a whole lot of Russell Westbrook in his game.
  25. Romeo- IU TJD- IU Watford- IU Hurt- Kansas Brooks- Kentucky Carton- IU
