So what you're saying is they are desperate for a high quality win and a sleepy early tip off on the road against a team that embarrassed them on their home floor is the perfect opportunity. I've not yet successfully re-programmed myself to not expect the worst outcome in huge moments for IU hoops. The Archie years (and beyond) did a number on this fragile soul ;-). This may or may not be a cry for help.

Feels like every game is a little more important than the last. I hate that this game is a noon Saturday tip after the gut punch from last night, and against a team that will desperately be seeking payback. A sleepy early tip off/another poor start first half and we're staring a possible 4 game losing streak and another middle of the pack finish in the face. I feel like this team is better equipped than any in recent memory to turn the page quickly and turn last night into fuel. Let's do that, please.

I thought the refs were bad. Really bad. We also did ourselves no favors digging that big of a hole. Both can be true. Very poor effort in the first half, regardless of calls made. We can’t control the refs, we can control the effort. I hope that letdown doesn’t linger. Need to move the focus to Illinois real quick.

Completely useless fact of the day....the highest ranked team with 7 or more losses. Carry on. -

I can help with that b/c a buddy sent me a screenshot beside himself that there wasn’t a big 12 team on the 1 line (but no reaction to IU on the 2 line) -

Wisconsin's win last night moves them back into a Q2 win for us, so as of this moment we have a 8-7 combined Q1/Q2 record. Anybody know if we've ever had an over .500 Q1/Q2 record this late in the season in the NET era? -
Uggghhhhh. Okay. I’m a reasonable person (sometimes). I’ve listened to, and considered several opinions. I come to you fools with my tail tucked ready to admit that, though my opinion here is more nuanced that should fit into a message board post….I get it. And I’m fine with court storm on Saturday. I’m also not trying to start another conversation on this (lively!) topic so mods, feel free to toss this post in the bin.
