I agree. I think it would be cool for those who are absolute to have a badge attached to their user ID. If they are right then they get bragging rights for a year but if they are wrong we get to dog them for a year.

Nick was a leader for this years team right? Perhaps you don't even have to be a leader though. Our youth has been a heavily used reason for our struggles the last two years. Having experienced guys leave seemingly every year recently (Roth, creek Hollowell and Remy) are hurting our ability to perform at a higher level.

Fair point. Still one way or another we seem to be hurting due to lack of senior leaders. This has been a pretty consistent problem during his tenure here.

Ordinarily I would say you're crazy but he is recruiting two mid level guard wings for next year right? We do not have any needs and are already over by two. Now if TB wants to come I get that but not mid level wing guards. So why recruit them. If not for his next gig then I don't like the other answer either. That of course would be that we are losing 2 guard wings and those guys are the core and the future. Surely we can't be losing two of these guys too right. I mean one argument for Crean staying is that next year looks really good.

All of them favor coaches. They have to have access to the programs to do their jobs well none of them ever talk bad about a coach.

If Bryant is going to make a decision this spring, this would be the last time to see IU play at home. I suppose he is up to date on the uncertainty but it is possible that Martin is retained and maybe he realizes this is something he should see in person.

We need a Brad Stevens, Billy Donovan and Sean Miller look alike on campus this weekend. Put them in a room with a big window and a sign that says finalists for next coach at IU While giving TB the tour just casually pause outside that window for awhile before proceeding on.

Have we had any really big recruit from outside of Indiana visit recently? Don't see how anyone can feel good about Bryant or Thon until they visit us like they are doing with other schools recruiting them. Seems awfully quiet except for the 2017 Indiana kids that have been to some games

After seeing all these recruits who we missed on and who are struggling I am not sure what to think. We missed on so many of them and ended up with two guys who barely see the court.

The EWU loss though was just bad because of how it happened. We had the game won and EWU did not look to be a problem. We lost not because they were a team to be reckoned with but because we could not finish the game. We could not defend and gave up layup after layup during the last 5 mins. Last year we had a lot of similar losses in the BT and were equally bothered. Games we control throughout but cannot close out. Sure EWU being the team that came back did not help but the manner on which we lost was this issue for me.

This is how I would present it as well. It would help if Noah was someone kids could contact as a reference and have him give glowing recommendations. I do not know this to be untrue but I get the impression the relationship is frosty between him and the staff.

Ok. I think we are a legit big away from being a championship level team next year. I agree that with what we have coming in and coming back we could be top 15-20 good but not sure we have enough to get past sweet 16. I get that is still pretty good and should warrant some excitement but then after that year we lose Yogi, Nick and HP and possibly JBj. So another peak at sweet 16 then reload.

Who is it that gives us size next year? I thought Morgan was essentially the same height as Perea. Does he play more like a center or is he a rebound machine?
