  1.   Yeah, #1 and #2 lost to teams in the 30s in KenPom ratings.  IU lost to a team about 100 spots lower than those teams.  I can see the similarities...
  2. Congrats Denver and Congrats Peyton!
  3.   Denver has a stellar defense.
  4. Go Peyton, Go Broncos! Really hope he gets his second and retires on top. Walked with him and got my picture taken with him on the field after the Pro Bowl many years ago. He hung out and signed a ton of autographs for little ones after the game.
  5.   Did you notice in the game that Pat Chambers called a timeout when IU pushed the tempo and had a few open looks?  They were down to one timeout at the end but Chambers could feel a little momentum swinging  IUs way.  He made the right call to settle his players down and get them back on track.  Crean stood and watched as Troy assisted to PSU for a breakaway dunk and then threw a solid pass about 15 rows up.  IU had 5 TOs in 5 minutes and ..... no timeout, no getting into his players, no settling the troops to get them refocused.  While Crean can't be blamed for those few plays he can be blamed for not managing the game.   Also, teams are often a reflection of their coach.  Look back at all the maniacal incidents Crean has been involved in.  Was he disciplined in going after the Michigan assistant, all the blow by handshakes, issues with Time Miles, etc.?  Look at all the off court issues that were swept under the rug or offenders met with a light slap on the wrist?  Does any of that scream discipline or being under control?  Now, look on the court and see the issues with TOs; however, he dismisses it as playing fast...
  6.   Yeah, that jumping up and down like it was Max's (?) fault was terrible.  He had another 90 mph fastball pass to a teammate a few feet away from him but got bailed out by another playing catching the deflection.  He only had 2 TOs but had about 5 layups that were terrible and another few passes that were deflected to other IU players.
  7. I don't see it in the box score but did Troy get 2 points for that air dunk in the first half?  So glad he jumped at the rim without the ball.
  8.   Twice, that I recall, TB was fighting for position.  Troy was dancing with the ball and then drove... why?  Get the ball into TB and good things will happen!
  9.   If their fourth point of contact was loose IU doesn't lose this game.
  10.   That over and back call though?  Hate when refs anticipate calls.    When will Crean realize that PSU will play a physical, slow game and make adjustments?  We shot 26 FTs and that number could have easily of been twice that.  We have this bright shiny Escalade in the garage that we don't like to use if the weather is bad.  However, we love to use our Ferrari that hasn't been in the shop to get the steering wheel adjusted and the throttle always seems to be stuck when pressed.
  11.   It's been past time for some time.  We're getting the Crean special again.
  12. Can't really say I'm surprised, which is sad.  PSU mucked up the game and we played right into their hands without any adjustments.  We never pushed out to a lead and PSU made the plays at the end.    Again, Troy has so much potential but never gets near the consistently to display his talent.  This game felt like n effort to show Troy off.  Troy as pg = not a good performance.
  13. Maybe similar to Giddens at O$U too. It's crazy those two along with Stone at MD were all coming off the bench at one point this season. The B1G has a lot of good, young bigs.
  14. A new golf course would be amazing. I've been told stories the a great golf course designer offered to build a new course for the university for a $1. The problem was he want trees torn down around the golf course to open it up more and the university declined his offer. I highly doubt the university is that serious about a new course.
  15.   We may get upset with the team but we are truly spoiled as fans.  My nephew has gone to IU camps over the summer and it has always made his summer to be around IU players.  Most of the players get it and take time out to make fans, especially little ones, feel special.
  16.   Top ten in the East though!  We're a football school.  It will be difficult for some to grasp but we are definitely a football school...
  17. Let's go all Matt Roth (5-6), Jordan Hulls (7-11) on them from deep but this time play some defense to hold them under 60.
  18.       Getting off to a better start against better opponents will be key.  We can't spot Iowa, MSU, or MD 10+ points before we start playing.  Troy is a handful of TOs and bad off balance shots waiting to happen at the beginning of games.  Although it does allow him to pick up fouls or get benched to slow down until coming back in.  He is a definite plus when he is working the baseline and getting points off cuts or in transition.  When he's handling the ball or making decisions he's a huge minus.
  19. It's rather interesting to see who post in the chat when the team is playing poor vs. them playing well.  It's nice to see the team play well and Crean to have good game too just to see them run along.
  20. I really want to see IU come out firing on all cylinders.  This is a game we should control the entire way up until more Priller minutes on the road in the B1G!!!  If this happens I want to hear all the chants from IU fans in attendance!
  21.   That's possible.  I still see them slipping up somewhere.  In that scenario we would have to win all home games and all road games we should win only losing @MSU and @Iowa just to share.  I guess we'll see over the next month or so.
  22. IU will have to take care of Iowa and have them slip up somewhere else, @Michigan to end the year? Will be really tough with them having an easier schedule in the second half.
