  It could potentially be a huge game.  Iowa has gone through a tough stretch and came out unscathed but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up with 3-4 conference losses.

  I still believe the B1G champion will have 3-4 conference losses.  Iowa has good wins @MSU and @pu but they have plenty of road games ahead they can slip up. 

Not sure where to put this re:  IU's weak schedule...   Maryland doesn't have a top 50 RPI win this season.

  This!  He also just seems to be taking it all in.  He seems like a kid who will make a big play but isn't excited about the big play he made, rather he wants to go watch film on the plays he made a mistake on.  You get the sense from him that he isn't as satisfied about his play as fans.  You get the sense that, while playing well, there is so much more he will be able to do in the future.  It's great we're in a position where he can come off the bench for limited time and not be relied on as a frosh.  I'm extremely excited to follow his career and watch him grow.  We got a good one in OG!

  pu is really good when they're playing their style and are able to hit 3s.  I don't think they will dictate the tempo tomorrow and will lose by double digits.

We have the potential to contend in the B1G and make a run in the big dance.  I want to see how we play @Wiscy, @Michigan, vs. Iowa, etc. before I consider IU to be a real player in the B1G conference race.  We might lose some of those but I want to see how we compete.  The recipe for a B1G regular season championship is as follows.   Defend home court (5 more wins against Minny, Iowa, Nebrasketball, pu, Maryland) Win road games we should (@PSU, @ILL) Steal one or two on the road we shouldn't (@Wiscy, @Michigan, @MSU, @Iowa)   I think 15-3 at least ties for the conference title.

THE Bill Walton is on ESPN.  I believe there are two teams playing as well.

Costello is balling out.  I honestly thought MSU was going to win this by double digits. 

Valentine is a heck of a college basketball player but you have to question his shot selection sometimes.  In two of their losses he pulled up from the arc or just inside it when he should have taken it to the rim.  I would still have him on my team any day of the week. 

Questionable foul call and then a "lane violation" for Maryland.  Random weird calls...

MSU has had several beginning of the year IU passes on the break.

  I swear the B1G agreed to something fishy when accepting Maryland into the B1G.

And I agree with Bilas on that turrble no call in the lane earlier in the game. 

Melo has been bad shooting the ball today.  I'm surprised he hasn't taken 10 FTA already in this game.

IU is up to 18 in AdjO and 46 in AdjD after the NW game. 

  Several of those close wins are against teams they should have blown out though. 

  I'll take MSU.  They're back into a corner and they come out swinging. I haven't been overly impressed with Maryland this season.

Looks like the kayuts will break the streak of IU W's and puke L's on the same day.  Vandy has been pretty disappointing lately.

  Not sure about his dad though.  He might want something in return.  A case or two of Zima should do it.

I think I would actually put Michigan in at 4 right now over pu.  They have a better win (vs. Maryland) and not as bad of a loss (@Ill).  Their best road victories are about equal too, UM@Nebrasketball and pu @Wiscy.
