I believe prostitution is legal in Nevada outside of Clark County (Vegas). I worked at a site a few hours outside of Vegas for 6 weeks. We stayed near Vegas on the weekends and stayed at the site during the week. That's like 10+ times passing right in fron of the Bunny Ranch, Pink Clam, etc. I have pictures OUTSIDE some of those establishments. haha

Is Thomas Bryant a one and done?
HoosierAloha replied to jdailey1981's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Props for owning it. I would give TB the advantage on demanding the ball and having more post moves. I was shocked when Vonleh started knocking down threes, especially at such a high percentage. Vonleh had a great wingspan and hand size at the combine I believe. -
Okay

Similar but with even more versatility, that's why I like him off the bench. If DD has a bad start or picks up early fouls bring him in as a stretch 4. He'll have the strength to compete with most 4s in the B1G. If Hartman, Troy, or whoever else needs rest on the wing he can come in and add length and athleticism to make a taller/longer lineup.
-
I might be in the minority here but I would like to continue to see OG come off the bench next season. There are a lot of variables and that could change depending on what happens going forward. I see him as a spark that could be a B1G sixth man of the year type contributor.

Doesn't look like we'll get a 6th McD's AA... -
Did he get tossed or just fouled out?
-
Clemmons has been playing at the 2 for most of the season though right? Jok has been playing the 3. They can put a long and athletic team on the floor. A way that we can speed them up is getting Woodbury in foul trouble and forcing him to the bench early to allow for the lane to open up more.

I find myself frustrated not knowing how much to invest in the new players. I was iffy with NZ not knowing if he would get the opportunity to play two years. I liked Holt's game and intensity but he wasn't around long. I liked what Abell brought to the team but he gone. How much do I put into both OG and JMor staying all 4 years? Maybe it's just me and my problem but there hasn't been much evidence that these players will be around all four years. And seriously, what to do with MSB??? I mean I could see him leaving early to own the NBA, if he wants. -
Iowa and purdue's size are different though. Iowa has tall lanky players in Woodbury, Uhtoff, Jok, Baer, and Uhl. They're not the tallest but they have length. I think Troy, OG, and JMor can match some of that length and athleticism. Hartman would be used solely as a body to stay with Uthoff and try to contest shots. I don't think we will completely shut him down. TB has to be smart of defense and muscle Woodbury down low on offense. Max needs to pull Woodbury out of the lane to give Yogi and RoJo driving lanes on Gesell, he is a weakness on defense that they can beat off the dribble.

Might not be a significant injury that will get worse with playing, although those are rare. He might be getting rest through the week and not practicing as much. It could be just a nagging injury that effects his mental game and that's why his shot is off. I suspect we see RoJo put together a strong game at the Hall soon and he gets back on track.

To back this up.. 2010 - 1/3 Oladipo did graduate (7 years combined) 2011 - 0/3 (7 years combined) 2012 - 1/5 (11 years combined, only 2 made it past 2 years) 2013 - 2/6 at most (only 2 made it past 2 years) 2014 - 3/6 at most (3 "one and done") Edit: This should probably be in a different thread. -
Crean mentioned he was battling an injury in the Wisky (?) post game presser.
-
Agreed there's usually roster turnover. RoJo is the only one returning. How will JBJ come back from his injury. Yes, he's played in the system before but will he be able to do the same things as he did before or will he have to change is game/role. While Newkirk practicing in the system for a year gives him a head start he hasn't played a second in a game that counts. CuJo, Green, and Gelon will all be frosh though.

I think you might be confusing physical measurements with athleticism. I don't know TB's wingspan but I'm guessing he has an advantage on Cody. Like someone mentioned earlier Cody tested as one of the best athletes as a "big."
-
TB isn't in the same tier as Cody in terms of athleticism at this point.
-
Michigan has battled back in this game. It's still but impressive effort by UM.

Hoosiers take the lead with 38.5 seconds left. -
Iowa came out with their hair on fire. They could be the hottest team in the country right now.
-
The "roster stabilization" is in a wait and see mode. We are possibly turning over our guards in a major way next season with Newkirk, CuJo, Gelon, and Green coming in. We should have a good mix of upperclassmen/underclassmen and guards/bigs but there is a long offseason to go.
-
In the games I've seen Jok is pretty automatic too. The other approach could be to try and shutdown the players around Uthoff and allow Uthoff get his. I agree Yogi has an advantage over Gessel. I also think that TB will have an advantage or at least neutralize Woodbury. Woodbury still hasn't developed a solid offensive game. I'll be satisfied with a split though.
-
That's fair to ask but I think it's still early to determine that. This team hasn't really separated itself in wins against Rutgers, Nebrasketball, Wiscy, or Minny. This team has morphed into a team I don't really recognize as a typically "Crean" team.
