Troy ONLY had 4 turnovers. Nebrasketball had 9 points off those 4 TW turnovers. -

Oregon punt block near the goal line caught and ran for a first down. Crazy play! -
They purdue'd the crap out of Rick Mount Day.
-
If they can hold on they would have a home victory over the top B1G team and a road win against another top 3 B1G team. That's a strong way to open conference play. How is a knee to the side not a foul...? ouch

Iowa might be a top 3 team in the B1G. They're defense is stout and pu is not knocking down their threes in the second half.

This was OG's breakout game. I hope he gets increased minutes in the near future. TB hedged ball screens a lot better today. JMor had some good plays in limited minutes as well. It was nice to see Max hit 3-4 from the line in the last minute. Yogi was got back to being the good Yogi. Nice to see Z3 knock down a couple of triples too. TB was effective on offense too. Troy and RoJo struggled mightily today. If JBJ is going to be out an extended amount of time those two have to step up. -
I have no idea what to think. If he had swelling in the knee they could have been waiting for the swelling to subside to evaluate further. After that evaluation they could have had conflicting thoughts so wanted to give it more time before performing more tests. I have zero info on that but I know it's taken weeks to actually find the problem of some of my ailments. Although I wasn't a big time D1 athlete either.

We're not the worst team in the B1G on most days? -

I think you still have a little fight in you Old Friend! Good write up Hutch. I'm running it through my head what B1G opponent IU could have won against with that performance. I keep coming back to "it depends on what the other team does." I've seen O$U, Illinois, Minnesota, and PSU put up some terrible performances this season. I think all of those teams could have made an effort to lose to that IU performance but more likely than not we wouldn't have lost by double digits. I've been saying it all season and I'll continue to say it for the rest of the season. This team is so frustrating because they will play a few minutes of beautiful basketball and then revert back to selfish play on both ends of the court. Do the players not understand they will get beat off the dribble when they don't sit down and move their feet? Do they not understand we score or get fouled more often than not when the ball goes inside? It's as if we play good team basketball just to make sure we can and then flip the switch to street ball for the remainder of the half. Where is the leadership?! -
The ref blew the whistle before contact was ever made on that Dickerson foul. haha

Good win by Northwestern in Lincoln. If they want to make the dance they'll need wins on the road against that lower level B1G teams. It was a close game throughout. Hope our Hoosiers understand it won't be a cakewalk against Nebrasketball on Saturday.
-
This should be interesting to see how the terps close the game out. Last year Dez Wells lead them down the stretch, who will be that player this season?
-
Give me a player who plays solid defense and keeps his man in front of him to force contested jumpers over a player with double digit deflections. Currently, we are a team who tries to deflect a pass that pulls us out of position and we give up uncontested layups. It's a philosophy as much execution thing. I believe we got away with it in the Cody years because we had sound position defenders and Oladipo..
-
They have a ton of talent but I don't think they're great, top 5, as a collective unit. Turgeon does a great job of flipping his s*** every time Melo is touched. I wouldn't be shocked if PSU has to play managers in this game when they're entire team fouls out.
-
That would be a shocker. I don't think they're quite on the level of pu or MSU in the B1G. Last season they just found ways to win in the closing minutes. Did they make a deal with the devil when moving to the B1G?

Maybe he watched a Rutgers practice where all their injured players were nailing threes? The Rutgers team I've watched is turrrble. I guess when you play against our defense we make it look like you have firepower??? I'm at a loss. I've watched a handful of post game pressers and just laugh. It's good comedy.

IUBB Pick'ems Game #14 vs. Rutgers

I went back and forth on the TOs. I thought we would emphasize ball control to start conference play. How ignorant of me.
