  1. Wisconsin cannot show us up with 26 TOs against a bad team.  We will get more!
  2. Yogi and Troy battling for the title of TO king, RoJo trying to catch up.  Does Crean think this is good basketball?  Does he plan on EVER doing anything about it???
  3. Again, if CTC would have lit into the ref on TBs first touchy foul we wouldn't be at this point...
  4. Burton!!!  Didn't see Burton, Max, and Hartman being the keys to our offense today.   Now we're getting 3 happy.  Attack!!
  5. I'm not even mad at Max for all these shots.  I would be trying to get mine with these guys on the floor.
  6. So glad we have Max.  Why is CTC not losing his mind on the TB "fouls?"  He has two touch fouls.  That white haired ref is really get on my nerves.
  7.   I guess that was the quota for the half.  Waiting for Troy to get the ever elusive triple dub in points, rebounds, and TOs.
  8. Yogi and Troy have hit their TO quota, 4 each!
  9. Thank goodness for Max.  Yogi seeking out his again.
  10.   They're definitely a tourney team, derp derp.   That first half is the story of our season.  Take care of the ball = score, get sloppy and poor defense = opponent scores.
  11. Every game is important but games against Rutgers, Nebrasketball, Minnesota, Penn State, etc. are even more important.  We can afford to lose any bad games if we hope to make the tourney and/or get a decent seed.  We really didn't have any marquee wins in the non con schedule so avoiding bad losses can go a long way.   This game could also be a boost to the team's confidence in their ability to win on the road.  If we're going to contend to be top half of the B1G we're going to need to win a few of these games on the road.    Last thought, JUST DEFEND!!!  If you can't defend foul the poop out of someone.
  12. It will be interesting to see Max guarding the bigs for pu.  They hook and swing their elbows often.  I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them pickup offensive fouls in the Hall.
  13. IU - 84 Other - 72   I watched RU the other day and they're bad.  I wouldn't be surprised if they only won a few conference games.
  14.   Pretty sure I only got 5-6 right...
  15.   Pretty sure I choked in the clutch!!
  16. Those back to back to back triples really opened it up in the third quarter.  Buss was dishing some dimes in that run too.  Good win ladies.  Get a little momentum heading to Madison!!
  17. Not exactly related to IU for Christmas but...   My parents and other family members all graduated from IU.  I left my little town in Southern Indiana a few months after graduating  high school to "see the world."  My parents and family constantly sent me IU gear; hoodies, shirts, socks, dress shirts, pen/pencil holders, calendars, anything and everything IU related in hopes that one day I would return to Indiana.  Unfortunately, health issues forced me to medically retire early from the military.  I applied and was accepted to several colleges around the US but as I sat there deciding where to go I was surrounded by more than just clothes, calendars, and other gear that made the choice easy.  Their campaign was relentless and paid off.  I now shower my nephew and other kids I know with as much IU gear I can find.  Even though we are frustrated with the basketball team is and the football team dropping a few games we should have won my IU gear means more to me than that.
  18.   Turnovers and special teams (rebounding?)!!!
  19. Best of luck to Olah and get better soon big fella!
  20.   I'm not saying it would actually be done but it could be used to force Crean into agreeing to a lesser buyout.
  21.   It's in "good faith" so I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he landed on his feet making ~1 mil/year.  I could also see an agreement is reached and less money is paid.   Is it possible to continue to pay him but reassign him to an admin position until July 1 and then fire him?
  22.   That would be a great problem to have.  Having a player who is equally effective as an RB and WR could add yet another dimension to this offense.
  23. I'm interested to see the support of the program through fans putting butts in the seat, more specifically if students will show up and STAY the entire game.  This is a huge step the program needs to take that the players/coaches don't have a lot of control over.  Yes, winning games and being competitive throughout the entire game can help but fans (students) need to go and stay.  If we could develop even a bit of a home field advantage with noise and passion it could help a lot.
  24.   The boosters pulling support/donations is the quickest way for a change.  Unfortunately, I don't see that happening anytime soon and would take a terrible few years or another string of off the court issues.  The other way is for alumni/fans to simply turn their back to the program for years.  I'm not sure this will happen due to the sheer number of fans that would love to attend just one game in Assembly Hall or aren't passionate enough to not tune into a game on TV.  The whole situation is frustrating and the longer Crean is "leading" the program and not winning the more upset passionate fans will become with him.  That's where incidents at games, on campus, etc. will begin to take place.  We have heard the booing and it could get a lot worse.
