Haha, typical fighting dookies game. Refs close their eyes and then make phantom calls. Duke starts hitting shots. Refs are trying to make up calls. It's a mess.

I mean I'm good with saying Troy's defense was terrible against Wisconsin. I'm not quite comfortable saying it was anything better than "not terrible." He seemed to have one of his "squirrel!!!" games. -

The spacing, especially in the second half, was not good. There were several times Yogi drove right into Bryant in the lane. The baseline cut by Troy was not working. Troy also had a "shot" that was about 3 feet short that might have been a pass to Bryant. Troy also took a rebound away from Bryant that ended up out of bounds. Troy did rebound well last night and that helped but I don't think he's been a net positive for a few games. -

Defending decently...? He had a play in the first half where he completely bit on an up fake and gave up an easy layup. In the second half his man completely beat him. Troy decided to jump behind that driver at the free throw line and foul him. That's just two horrible defensive plays that stick out to me. I'm sure there are more. -
Hartman played good defense on Shields of Nebraska. Yes, he got in foul trouble but Hartman forced bad shots and played good position defense on Shields. Hartman seems to be the bailout foul guy for this team.

Can anyone explain Troy's movements on defense? Two plays in particular stand out to me. Troy running through the lane and past his man in the first half. Troy running behind his man after getting beat in the second half. Those two plays really stood out to me with the "squirrel" approach he sometimes takes. -

Completely slipped my mind. Yes, RoJo (with progress) and JBJ with CuJo and the transfer pg or the 2017 pg reclassifying would make for a solid, solid team. Sorry a bit off topic. This was a good win against Wiscy at home. I'm curious to see how we will play them on the road. Will they shoot 40 FTs compared to our 2? -

TOrate of 30.6% and we still won... Defense has improved a lot since Maui. Agree with poster above, I can't recall a time so many shots went 1/2 or 3/4 of the way down and came back out. -

I know you're a footbal junkie but a frontcourt of De'Ron, Bryant, OG, and Morgan is going to be awesome. Hartman will provide some senior leadership for those guys. I think OG has the ability to play the 3 in that frontcourt and would make that a great, albeit young, group. Still think we need a solid guard to add to next year's roster. -

I like a frosh like OG seeing the game for about 5 minutes then coming in doing his thing. It has been working so I wouldn't mess with it. We have a couple solid pickups in Max, OG, and JMor. Great game, we don't usually win these types of games. We hung around and did just enough. YOGI WAS CLUTCH!!! I've been on him for awhile but he handled business when he needed. -
#3 for Alcorn State still has a strong hair game. Definitely jealous.

Wow, I had a pretty good week of "guessing." Now I'll return to my normally scheduled suckage of guessing scores. -
Bryant Crawford would have been a huge get. He's been a big key for Wake.

4 to go, Wake ball down 1.

^^^And you could see Crean call for Troy to make that drive several times in this game. We win that game by close to 20 if we have - Better FT% - A few less TOs Troy basically gave them 9 points on his TOs. Earlier in the season Troy was hustling back for blocks after making mistakes now he's just putting his head down. -
I'm just not sure that Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin can all be really good to powerhouse at the same time. If two are strong along with Northwestern that would make the West look a little better. The East is always going to be strong with MSU, O$U, and UM. If more schools are added I see it coming from Texas or more likely the east and pushing IU to the West.

That was a solid game. Good fight by both teams near the end of the game. Both teams are very beatable.

Good stuff, had me cracking up. I think it might fit a different thread though... I wish the General would return to Assembly Hall and have something to do with the program. I think it would mend a lot of ill feelings of how he was kicked out of Bloomington. This would be a huge lift for the fans but I just don't see it happening. I can only imagine a standing ovation lasting 10 minutes or more.

Let's give Hartman some love too. He might have been in a bit of foul trouble but he did a pretty damn good job on Shields. I really like to see OG develop as that lock down athletic wing too. He has solid instincts and the athletic ability to make the play. -

Hell of a game. I don't think they were forecasting Boykin to punch a cop a few nights before the bowl.... -

Well he cleaned it up from his 7 turnover 11 points off turnovers against Rutgers... Moving in the right direction?
