  1. Other boards are optimistic, and site empirical evidence .Like...post IU-visit he was back at the Kelley School with his parents, and that he might skip the Stanford OV.

  3. I want to win with student athletes, not an NBA developmental team of no degree mercenaries.
  4. Welllll.... While Hammons was not as good a player as Cody, Hammons showed as far back as high school that he was going to be a really good college player, as evidenced in part by his ability to have a big game in high school against players the caliber of Cody. As for CMoore, I'm pretty sure that when IU is recruiting him, they are doing so with no illusions that he will ever play significant minutes at the 5, especially as a freshman. BTW, had their recruitments been successful, I'm pretty sure that the same IU coaching staff had no intention of ever using Malik Williams or Jaren Jackson for significant minutes at the 5.
  5. I am going to copy and paste, and quote this post on a regular basis. In about 200 words, you have completely and perfectly summarized the entirety of the issue. KUDOS, and THANKS!!
  6. Why is he another Priller and not another OG? Personally, I have NO IDEA what kind of player he will be (though I'm fairly sure he has more potential than MSB).
  7. Before picture of Clifton Moore: After Lionel Anderson program picture:
  8. Holy crap...he has gained 12 pounds since we offered him!!
  9. Oh geeze, I don't know. Not many freshmen, even highly ranked ones! Seems like a ready-made spot for a 20 year old grad transfer, if you ask me.
  10. We're gonna need someone that can push and shove down low in addition to this kid. If that happens, count me in.
  11. Temple if he wants to stay home, or IU.
  12. Not so much, but when I don't see much upside I tend to be quieter. I am pretty quiet on Gak. I am pretty quiet on Gelon. I am pretty quiet on Devonte Green. For me? Gak is like Moore without a jump shot or a too skinny Manley, or Perea's game on a high character kid.
  13. Gak is most certainly not a big bodied post at this point either. Gak is the same height/weight as Moore. Manley is the closest to a "true big" in frame.
  14. Not a post scorer. At 6'11", he'd better be a post defender.
  15. From a new 247 article: Moore is taking an official visit to Ole Miss on Sept. 24, and will likely visit Indiana and Northwestern (in one order or another) the two weekends after that. Michels said Moore is much more of an outside player than a true big man, and would fit into a collegiate program that plays quickly and doesn't need him in the paint. That's part of what makes Ole Miss attractive, that "they don't have anything like him," Michels said. Moore still doesn't know much about Indiana and only just met Crean on Thursday night, but the mystique of the program is already attractive to him. "The whole thing of Indiana is intriguing," Michels said. "It's one of those places that it's just intriguing because of who it is. Whether it ends up being a fit in the long run, I don't know, but it's something that I think intrigues him because it's Indiana."
  16. James, not Thomas, as IU's best player? We can only hope. While unlikely, if that were true we'll be in for one heck of an excellent year.
  17. ^^Not to question this coach's credibilty, but that's not the first time he's said this^^
  18. I thought for sure you were telling an OG Anunoby story, right through the small-town Missouri roots, until you got to the Otto Porter conclusion. So that's two examples of this happening. Don't get me wrong, if I had a choice between Clifton Moore Jr and Bamba it would be no contest, but open mind? Can do.
  19. High school in-game video (not highlight reel): http://www.insidethehall.com/2016/09/16/video-class-2017-forward-clifton-moore/
  20. Will he be the next OG or the next Jeremiah April? (Cue dramatic music)
  21. Full profile on ITH. The kid has NO SHOE COMPANY AFFILIATION (0MG). His Coach says Clifton > Malik Williams. Read on: http://www.insidethehall.com/2016/09/16/indiana-offers-2017-forward-clifton-moore/
  22. There is no question from watching videos this young man has a very good handle for his size. Also, a text book jumpshot with a high release
  23. High level academics are a plus here. An informative write up on Scout: http://www.scout.com/college/saint-josephs/story/1690655-clifton-moore-recruiting-update
  24. We's the kings of "under the radar"!!
  25. JBj is acting all grown up. Confident and more vocal.
