I'll fire up the discussion and throw a name out that would be a fantastic hire someday for IU; one that could stay for 30 years. He's got Indy ties with bball and family, he's a pure defense-oriented guy, he's got assistant experience in the NBA, D-league, and in college, he's currently a D-League head coach, and he is one of the smartest, best squared away basketball individuals and human beings there is...period.
I'm sure this name will get slayed by y'all, because he is currently 26 years old, but as far as I'm concerned, to get a diamond you might have to be open to a guy that's a bit outside the "mid-major stalwart" box. I frequently don't know the answer, but this time I know... that this guy will be a major, MAJOR success as a coach.
