Hallelujah, praise the lord, and amen!

Whether it was arguably consensual is only relevant in assessing the likelihood of successful criminal prosecution. It is irrelevant is assessing whether he should be a student athlete at Indiana University. If the Minnesota recruit described in these reports is our recruit...he shouldn't be anymore.

Why would K agree to go on the show if he planned on being a complete jerk when faced with logical, respectfully posed questions? K just made a complete horse's ass out of himself in this clip. He's getting a little RMK-ish.

Do our fans understand which games are biggest?

Both games are on weeknights, but the Nebraska game is during a week when many, if not most, are on winter vacation, including school age kids. Me and my 5th grader are making the trip from out of state for the Nebraska and UL games. (shhhh...don't tell him; it's a surprise). -
Yup. Got it; it's a very famous quote, one that is probably not best applied to a basketball player who trips people. Lots of people make larger sacrifices, and lots of basketball players make similar sacrifices without tripping opponents. You wanna talk about a basketball player that Teddy Roosevelt would ride with? Try this one instead:

IUBB's B1G Conference Record Prediction Thread

I think that Purdue is quite good, but we are a really good match-up with them. Seems to me that Purdue is a daunting opponent when Haas and Swanigan can really get going, and with Haas that is far from a given. Purdue's weakness is perimeter defense and quickness. We have two really, really good options to defend Swanigan; Juwan especially seems tailor made for it. Haas is a feast or famine player; dominates the teams that can't keep him off the block, and looks extremely awkward when he's kept off the block. TB and especially DeRon have the strength to avoid being overwhelmed by him. If we can turn their perimeter players into primary offensive options, I am optimistic. -
^^Way, way way too much.^^ It's a basketball player that trips people. Suspend him and mock him. That's it.
-
And in the event that it's him, pull the scholarship immediately.
-
If that is our recruit and we didn't conduct enough due diligence!?!?!?

Remember, sports is purely and merely entertainment. Bad moments merely provide contrast so that the good moments feel even better!

Are these two posts specifically inter-related? ;)

Well...the North Dakota player DID violate the norms/decorum of the game. Baer on Iowa rebounded a miss with 5 seconds left and Iowa up 11. Baer stood slack to let the clock run out. The North Dakota player wrestled the ball out of Baer's hands and tried to shoot it back in. Even my fifth grader knows how this stuff works; his rec league team was up 15 last week and he rebounded with 15 seconds left. Instead of playing through, he dribbled just past the midcourt line and stopped cold. Handed the ball to the ref at midcourt as the clock ran out. (My kid watches a lot of college basketball, and thanks to IUBB scheduling, has seen the "end of game cupcake shuffle" many times! lol).

I truly believe that Allen can't comprehend what there is about him that snaps and causes him to do this. There is no rational/competitive advantage in this happening repeatedly. That having been said, action = appropriate reaction, and the young man oughta be suspended.

IUBB's official social media game day poster for tonight. For me, that officially means that Freddie is fine, that this poster likely is not by accident, and is CTC's way of telling Freddie that he is still fully supported and part of the family, and that if anything was amiss, it was handled internally.

Welll, basically correct, although JanitorInTheGym is the handle for an IUBB insider who is connected with the program, and more than willing to anonymously call out indiscretions when they occur.

NYUK, YUK YUK YUK!

So far, pure speculation as to WHAT happened. Here's what's been leaked out so far: Freddie Involving alcohol Freddie is not an underage drinker Happened at Brothers Janitor in the gym basically infers it was 'not good' If anyone can add any actual information to that, please do. Otherwise, there is not enough to form an opinion yet.

^^This^^. And if more evidence is needed, yes maybe we have a scholly player transfer, but CTC is recruiting as if he has those three spots + Hartman's to fill.

If Z gets even a sniff of the NBA while half of UK's 5stars flounder in the D league, I may get me a Rupp Rafters handle just to troll them for an hour. -
Freddie is NOT the most interesting man alive! There goes my theory. If so, we will have the same 8-9 man rotation while he's on his 3 game 'never again' penance. Not the worst way for the whole team to be reminded of the importance of representing the university honorably.
-
Less than five per game?!? If it's Tim, he was probably just doing one of those "Most Interesting Man Alive" Dos Equis commercials.
-
He's a great kid, and he's athletic enough to be an excellent practice player. It's as simple as that; not every player has expectations of being in the rotation. That's why there are 13 scholarships.
