    True; I have a distant memory of Doyle taking unwarranted shots at Joani Crean...not okay. On the other hand, much like Dakich, Doyle is now a proponent of the theory that Crean has evolved and is good at his job.

    FWIW...from an article written yesterday: University of Florida Defensive backs coach Torrian Gray is in Tampa visiting USC commit Juwan Burgess (Plant High). The Gators have been heavily recruiting Burgess throughout his senior season and a possible flip remains in play.

    "JanitorInTheGym" is his moniker and twitter handle. He is hooked in. For real. He is not a fan of Crean. He tweeted this week that alums are starting to get involved in a post-Crean effort.

    I believe it is you and I that keep stating this fact over and over and over. We do so because it is the cold, hard reality of the situation. Crean cannot recruit the next class, 2018, with only two years left on his contract. That is the current situation.

    I think that Glass likes Tom Crean, and that if things are going well he will gladly go to bat for him. But when it's time...

    I do not believe there is some Tom Crean/Fred Glass conspiracy to justify Tom Crean's performance as IUBB Coach no matter how mediocre the results are. I just don't.

    FWIW, we watched McRoberts from the 1st row during early team warm-ups in-person twice. He's got a very good form jump shot; one that hits net as well as anyone on the team save for JBj and RoJo. Gotta believe that the light will go on and he'll start pulling the trigger sooner or later.
