    Anyone else reading this book? I find it very entertaining/intersting. Just read about Don Curnutt from Tipton which was excellent! Thought it would be good to start a discussion thread about the book and players that contributed to it if anyone is interested. Sure makes you long for the One Champion State High School Tournament again….

    I'm sold on his connectivity and versatility. He blends in with talent that plays the right way. It would be very hard to keep him off the floor as a frosh. He's a really versatile defender. A really good stretch 4 with talent around him.

    I'm fine with giving it a try since: A) What IU football has been doing since forever, obviously hasn't worked and B) going out and stocking up on 4 & 5 star guys isn't realistic. It's not like he's gonna hurt the brand or break the traditions of IUFB. Go all mad scientist and try something- anything - to change the trajectory of the program.

    It happens in college hoops all the time. Bring in a highly productive player from a mid/low-major. Seems a little less obvious with football, maybe because FCS players tend to have lesser physical measurables, but if executed smartly? Hell yes!
