  1. Past hour
  2. Evan Miya on the Hysterics and his take on the roster. Pretty good summary. His metrics don’t love Burton. Roster offensively limited. Lack of returning minutes. Didn’t get into the freshman at all. I personally think and have stated that’s where our roster building is flawed. We’ve got 2 that I have zero expectations for. And right now those guys are 9 and 10 on the roster. I feel those guys should be our 12-13. This in a nutshell sums up my roster concerns. I think the top end is strong in 3 of the 5 spots with some decent hope in the other starting spots. What’s not calculated into this, guy 9-13 might outplay and win job from 1-8. But if spots 11-13 are literal placeholders, no real inside completion is ever happening. Flawed model.
  3. They got a good one with Nowakowski
  4. If we can was preseason games on TV that would be excellent.
  5. And his agency and representation is awful imo. The Kentucky saga and how that was handled was botched. Don’t like that group much.
  6. This sounds great! Heard this too.
  7. DAMN YOU OLD FART! ;) On behalf of the moderators (that's you OF), I was hoping that this would stay under wraps until, oh, about the 12th of forever, to prevent political commentary Tomfoolery and the like. So in advance; a reminder that: While most have firmly held political opinions, this board is not the place for them. Even with an IUFB visit to the White House, that policy will be strictly enforced. Why is this our rule? Because: If we open that Pandora's Box it is very hard to close it or moderate it even-handedly, Political conversations on a message board usually go downhill even if they start out well-intentioned, And finally (and most importantly) because generally, people enjoy that this is a politics-free internet space. So here are examples of what will and won't be allowed: YES: "Looking at the IUFB White House video and saw that Cignetti brought his third cousin's grandma's nephew with him. Heard that kid can really punt a football and has committed to NW Eastern Michigan Tech. See link for that young fella's recruiting profile." NO: "Looks to me like XXX Player loves/hates/is ignoring/is playing bocce ball with XXX Politician. I find that to be lovable/hate-able/worthy of being bludgeoned with a bocce ball."
  8. Thanks for filling in, I was just going off what was left on the ESPN portal tracker. Hope we get someone, somewhere, somehow..

  13. Tidbit on IU potentially playing in the World University Games representing the USA in Peru. Games would be in late July and be nationally televised. Via the hysterics podcast that came out today
  14. I’m guessing what Greg Oden would’ve been if he had stayed in college.
  15. Seems like several injuries (knee, ankle, foot and elbow)
  16. Looks like these bigs are left in the portal: Ugnius Jarusevicius - Nebraska - 6'11 - needs a medical waiver Jordan Burks - UCF - 6'9 Aaron Bradshaw - Memphis - 7'1 Musa Sagnia - NC State - 6'10 freshman Stephen Olowoniyi - Oregon St. - 6'8
  17. Jamie Shaw of On3 did an update on Wabbington and we were one of the six schools mentioned. Talks primarily with KJ but really likes DDV. "...would really allow me to play make and shoot to score and allow me to play where I want to play.”
  18. Awesome, students should be in those seats. It drove me nuts as a student when alumni acted like students were so entitled because we had the biggest student section in the country. So what, most of the seats were not good. You were in the bleachers most games. Also basketball tickets alone were over twice as much as what I paid for ALL sports season tickets at the University of Texas in grad school several years later.
  19. Below is the list of players invited to the NBA Draft Combine. I'll save you the trouble of looking. No one from IU is on this list.
  20. It will be a dry but cool weekend for our Hoosiers taking on Northwestern (17-24-1) (5-16) in Evanston. All 3 games televised on B1G+. There are no more mid-week games on the schedule. Next weekend we play at PUke and the following weekend is the regular season finale (mercifully) hosting Illinois. Fri - 8:00 ET Sat - 3:00 ET Sun - 2:00 ET Preview Radio Live Stats
  21. Here is my question. Moving the students down is part of the story. The other part not mentioned is where those 600 people who were there before are going. Are they getting the premium student seats in section L and M? Are they moving people up till 600 people go back on waiting list? Did 600 people drop season tickets and this is way to do a reassign to keep attendance steady? Absolutely thrilled for students as I was one when the seats were taken away and we had ‘stand up old people’ for a few yrs. Just a few unanswered questions here.
  22. North and South bleachers filled with courtside students? This. Is. Great. Truly an excellent improvement.
  23. They could've put the Little 5 Borg next to Papa Borg to complete the set.
