Wow.  This is going to OT.  What a great game.  I'll have to catch OT in the morning.  I won't be surprised if Pitt puts it away early in OT.  They have owned this game, minus the last 4+ mins.  SJ can't find any answers for the Pens speed.  They are super fast and always seem to be in the right place.  They have the open spaces/slots and SJ can't seem to find theirs. 

GO SHARKS!!!!!

Congrats to the Penguins.  I see no reason why the won't wrap up the Cup on Thursday night.  They have been far away better than the Sharks in every single game and in nearly every single way.  The scores have remained close, 2 OT games, 1-goal and a 2-goal victory margin but wow, the Penguins have the drive, the motivation, the motor, the desire.  They aren't sloppy.  They make crisp passes, finding the slots/open spaces.  The Sharks are standing around, unable to clear the puck, turning it over in their own zone.  Once again Joe Thornton has fallen asleep when his team has needed him most.  Penguins, youth and speed have certainly shined in this serious.  Congrats to them!

Maybe the Penguins are destined to never skate the Cup on their own ice.

(San Jose had better win game 6 then.)

No clue what destiny holds. 25th anniversary, 1st Cup appearance, the feel good story of the Joes making it to the Cup Finals (flashback to Ray Borque). It makes for a nice fairy tale. I just don't see SJ rattling off 3 in a row against Crosby, Malkin, and their depth that doesn't stop.

However, they play each game one at a time so we'll find out on Sunday if there is enough gas in the tank.
