End of the 1st Q and the Lady Hoosiers trail 12 - 10.  Neither team shooting well; IU only 22% but they are outrebounding WVU which is a positive.

Halftime and the Lady Hoosiers trailing WVU  37 - 30.  WVU putting on a 3-point clinic hitting on 8 of 13 and overall shooting 45% from the floor compared to our 36%.  Cahill our leading scorer with 9, Buss with 8.   WVU had a 14-pt. lead at one time but our girls put on a mini-run to narrow the lead at the half.

End of the 3rd and our ladies just can't cut the deficit and trail 57 - 45.  Fortunately WVU has cooled on hitting 3's, but they've gotten off 12 more shots than we have.  We've hit 13 of 16 free throws or the WVU would be quite a bit bigger.  Buss with 12; Cahill with 11.

When you go to Florida in December, it’s supposed to be for fun.  Unfortunately, that was not the case for the Lady Hoosiers as they lose both games in the Florida Sunshine Classic.  Tonight was a 75 – 64 loss to WVU.  Ladies were outrebounded  35 – 28 and WVU hit 10-3’s. 

Buss 21 pts., but only 5 of 11 from the floor; she did hit 11 of 12 free throws.

Cahill 12 pts., on 5 of 6 from the floor.          

Gassion 11 pts., but only 3 of 10 from the floor.

McBride 10 pts., on 4 of 8 from the floor.
