I'm not following. How is our championship game different from anyone else's?

It's not. Except that now that we divide the conference so everyone doesn't play everyone, there is a greater chance of two teams facing off who previously did not and would not otherwise.

We haven't played everyone since we went to the Leaders and Legends( technically we haven't since PSU joined). No split division conference plays everyone.

 

Going back to your original post, who are these "divided conferences who will never get to reunite like ours"?

... And we get to reunite in the championship game. And that happens in other split division conferences. We're divided (split division) and we never get to reunite. I don't understand how you think you're saying something different than me. 

Last year Ohio State didn't play Michigan State in the regular season because we're a split division conference. Ohio State did get to play Michigan State in the championship (they reunited some might say). They would not have done so without the championship game. That would be sad. That's all I'm saying.

OK, gotcha. I was taking reuniting in a different context, pesky semantics. lol
