Disclaimer: I just put this here for discussion. I like Simmons, but I'm rooting for Crean.

It didn't make the podcast, but the topic of Crean's buyout (versus Painter) came up on Query & Schultz (WNDE 1260) last night.  Query stated, without equivocation, that Brad Stevens will be the next IU coach.  He claimed "intermediaries" close to management for both the Celtics and IU have discussed this and approached Stevens.  Now Query tends to make all issues black and white and he is not shy about running with less than concrete info, but I found this very interesting.

I know a aau coach and my brother-n law is a huge Kentucky fan. I couldn't care less what they think of IU or coach Crean!! If we don't make the big dance this year then sure lets go after Stevens. The talent we have this year I think we will do good things however.
