WR Kevin Davis Transferring

Well looks like (rs) soph Kevin Davis is transferring...... Don't know why really just saw this on 247 and don't have an account so couldn't read anymore..... But here's how i feel about this......

Pros- opens up a scholarship spot....means we could make a run at the WSU QB transfer unless he's already made a decision......and possibly could land a big WR recruit this year (crossing my fingers we get some 6'5" 210-220 lb kid)

Cons- take a hit to already depleted WR group and we need people with some experience and he has at least 5 games under his belt.....we lose speed and we all know speed kills and I feel he might have stepped in for Wynn next year.....

I don't think this is a new decision. I believe he made this decision in the spring.

Well as of 12:00 pm today when the news releases came out.....and IU spokes person confirmed that Kevin had asked for his release

Well, I don't know where I got the info, but I've known for months that he was leaving. As for when it was officially announced, it doesn't matter. I don't think that they get in a big hurry to announce roster changes, past history shows that.

He is the brother of Jordan Wallace who also transferred from IU this off season. Wouldn't 'be shocked if he ends up at ISU with a couple former Warren Central teammates (Jordan and Deionte Buckley)
