I believe we had a thread on this kid on one of the other boards a while back for those that have been around a bit.

Getting a look at 2016 Medina (Ohio) big man Jon Teske. Part of a loaded class in that state. Already has Michigan and OSU offers.

IU is in a solid position with Teske but probably not as solid as the above mentioned.

I really have layed off of the '16 class for now. You'll only see me post certain things in their threads. I think that's just to far ahead for our current status.

Someone in Egypt knows about Leaf. lol.

Looks like the ADIDAS Super 64. Ran across it on my guide looking for stuff to record while on vacation.

Thanks for the info. Some of these games start @ 4pm ET on Sunday on ESPNU and last all day or they are showing replays according to the guide. I'll have to look into this when I get a chance later.

EDIT: Here's a link to that for now with teams/schedules.

Bump. An early reminder since I haven't looked into this to much. Usually anything on TV I'll start a separate thread.

Also, an early heads up for Aug. 4th - Adidas Nations is on ESPNU. Set the DVR.

2014 ADIDAS SUPER 64 - DAY 1 RECAP

Braxton Blackwell – 2016 – F – Atlanta Celtics Blackwell is a mismatch waiting to happen. There aren’t many players that can match up with the 6-foot-8 forward, especially in transition. The touted sophomore loves to handle and push the ball up the floor and anyway standing his way could end up a poster. Blackwell had a strong second half to bring the Celtics back into the game and make it relatively close. He finished with a game-high 17 points for the Celtics in a loss.

Thon Maker – 2016 – F/C – Team Loaded VA After winning 17U MVP honors at the NY2LA Sports Summer Jam, Maker took his talents to Las Vegas and cashed in on another strong performance. It’s just not fair for any defender to have to guard a seven-footer with Maker’s skillset. The touted sophomore forward did a little bit of everything to help Team Loaded knock off Stackhouse Elite opening night. Maker scored 16 points, showing a fluid three-point shooting stroke and strong ability to penetrate off the dribble. As always, he was a force inside the paint, grabbing nine rebounds and blocking four shots.

2014 ADIDAS SUPER 64 - DAY 2 RECAP

Carlton Bragg – 2015 – PF – Ohio Basketball Club Bragg is going to make some college program very happy, wherever it may be. The five-star forward scored 31 points and added 15 rebounds in a loss to New York Rens Thursday afternoon. Bragg is such a difficult matchup for any defender, especially when he’s connecting on his three-point shots. Also a physical and intimidating post presence, when Bragg can get the most out of his talents, he’s easily one of the nation’s best players.  De’Ron

Davis – 2016 – PF – Colorado Hawks Davis was dominant in a loss to Team Fast Thursday morning. The touted sophomore seemed to score at will at times, shooting 9-13 from the field en route to a game-high 25 points. Davis also controlled the paint on the defensive end, grabbing nine rebounds. Davis displayed a high motor all game long. He’s worked hard on his body over the past year. He’s much leaner and more athletic, which has helped elevate his game.

Thon Maker – 2016 – F/C – Team Loaded VA When Thon Maker is at his best, it’s a long game for the opposition. Maker came close to that on Thursday in a win over Mass Rivals. The blue chip sophomore scored a game-high 26 points and added 14 rebounds. The seven-footer continues to display one of the deepest, if not the deepest skillset in the country. Maker knocked down a couple of triples and was able to dribble penetrate to the basket.

Rawle Alkins – 2016 – SG – NY Rens Alkins certainly lived up to the hype and made a couple of big plays late to secure a win against Ohio Basketball Club. Alkins scored 17 points, but helped out in so many other areas. The sophomore grabbed seven rebounds and dished out five assists as well Thursday morning. Alkins was even seen in the paint, doing some of the dirty work. Late in the game, he took on the challenge of defending Carlton Bragg.

Thoughts on 1st 2 sessions of USA 17U. Malik Newman, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, Caleb Swanigan, De'Aaron Fox & more http://bit.ly/1nqg4Ic

Jayson Tatum, who has taken over the No. 1 spot in the 247Sports rankings, displayed the most complete game of all the participants at the event. The only chink in his armor at this point is his long range jumper which is inconsistent. Other than that, Tatum excels at all phases of the game. Beyond his ball handling, passing, rebounding and midrange scoring, his three off the ball steals during the second practice were eye catchers.

Five-stars Caleb Swanigan and Henry Ellenson have been two of the top big men. Swanigan, who has a physique and game that resembles DeJuan Blair, is a dominant rebounder who finishes with touch against length. He is one of those rare big men who doesn't get sped up. Ellenson is the best shooting big man at the tryouts and has played well in all phases of the game.

Malik Monk and Dennis Smith are the two most athletic players trying out for the team.

V.J. King impressed with his outside shooting.

Dean Wade is a 6'8" SF/PF. His HS team was 26-0 this year. Averaged 22 pts, 8 Rebs, 3.7 blocks. Referred to as a true sleeper with legitimate high major skills. Said he needs to prove his low post skills, but has great face up skills out to 17 feet. Described as having good hands and a good passer. From Kansas. May be a good off the radar type. Seems to be all we can get anymore but I think I'll take him over Nick Marshall.

Those stats may have been from Jr. Year. May have better senior stats even.
