Yes definitely best series. Who do you think pulls it out tonight?

I got the Blazers. At home, two great players, have some momentum from the 4th quarter comeback.

I think so too. Whoever wins this one wins the series IMO.

Looking big picture basketball-wise at the Sterling situation. I've seen mentioned letting the Clippers players, coaches, etc. be free agents at the end of the season. Now THAT would be interesting.

Did you see the report this morning that Magic Johnson wants to buy the Clippers if Sterling ends up selling? That would be so good for the franchise.

I hadn't seen that, but it definitely would be a good thing. Clippers have already lost State Farm's advertising too. Only a matter of time before something happens. If I were Griffin and got freed from my contract, I'd go to the Lakers.

I don't know how they can free them of their contracts unless something in the fine print says "if you are offended by racist remarks made by the owner, this contract is void." Just doesn't seem likely to me given all the legal stuff.

Maybe there's a stipulation if the team gets sold. Idk. I just saw a few people with hypotheticals about it.

That would actually make sense. Didn't think of that. If it's sold to Magic though, I think there's a good chance most of them would stay.

I've said from the moment the story broke about Sterling that they shouldn't do a thing to him. He's entitled to his opinions, no matter how misplaced and archaic they may be. Instead, they should void the contracts for every one of his players, allowing them to walk to whomever they please. Then let's see him put together a team. It'd be the laughingstock of the NBA. Fans would quickly quit going and Sterling would be losing tons of money. He'd soon sell the team, and the NBA wouldn't have to do a thing.

They actually may do your idea (which I like) and ban him from the league. That would be a 10 year rebuild for that franchise.
