Genuine question: Who would you vote for? I'm probably not thinking hard enough, but no one else instantly jumps out in my mind. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Craft's teammate Shannon Scott. He's the better defender.
I know this will sound funny, but AJ Hammons. Dude averaged over 3 blocks a game and like 8 boards. Nobody went inside with consistency against PU. I know why Craft won it, and it is hard to say it is an injustice. He had 2.6 steals per game. He is the all time leader in steals. His best year was his sophomore year when he got almost 100 which is insane. I know AJ plays on the worst team, but that is what the MVP is for. The MVP should not play for the worst team. The DPOY and OPOY can come from those types of teams. Not typical, but its not like OSU was a top team this year.
Hammons is a beast. It sounds weird, but I'd like to see him reach his potential because his potential is off the charts. He just doesn't ever look like he wants it.

it is pretty brutal for a team with multiple guys on the All-Big Ten teams per the coaches and media (along with a couple other guys who should have been considered for the All-Freshman) to miss the NCAA Tournament

by far the worst coaching job of the season within the conference

I understand Stauskas as POY bc of them being the best team in the B1G, but last I checked you play on both ends of the floor and Gary Harris is 1st team all-B1G and defensive team. He can't help that his team didn't stay healthy and he still showed up and performed, on both ends, like everyone expected.

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I agree with Rayl on this one. Shannon Scott was more impressive every time I seen OSU outside of the MSU game at East Lansing. Dude was a beast this year.
