I don't smoke, but they honestly need to legalize it across the country, sell it in shops and tax the living crap out of it.

Marijuana is 100% safer than drinking. This leads to a whole different discussion, but the stuff needs to be legal and can help us out of our national debt. And it's be much easier to watch the Hoosiers this year with a little pregame toke :)

I wouldn't say it's 100% safer, because it may not be safe itself.  It may have a range of health impacts with long term use, lung/heart/brain damage etc.  Being illegal in many countries research can be a challenge so it's difficult to know.  People thought tobacco was safe at one time.

 

People say it's natural and can be used medicinally.  Both cocaine and heroin come from natural sources and have been used medicinally too.  And contrary to popular belief it is addictive, users have reported withdrawal.  It's also one of the top 5 drugs that people report to drug treatment facilities for.

 

Don't want to hijack the thread, it's a completely unrelated topic, your post just triggered thoughts I have on the subject.

For me, it's not about the pot and should it be legal or not. It's about driving when your impaired. Inexcusable and then try to blame your brother!
