Indiana Pacers 2.0

Recommended Posts

Going to be interesting- This team looks like the team that could beat anyone when they play "up" ....when they play down, they could lose to anyone...Going to need 4 games of "up" and a little extra to beat the damn Heat aka Bulls of the 90's....Go Pacers!

Worth noting that West and Lance have 3 techs each this postseason, Hill and Scola have 2 each, and Vogel has 1. Hopefully we don't see too much Scott Foster who is way too quick with his whistle on techs

Game 1 MVP goes to Lance Stephenson, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, David West, George Hill, and bench - no specific order!

Questions (rhetorical):

Did Pacers stop Lebron or was he focused on getting others involved?

And when does Lebron stop counting on others and starts going it alone?

Is the Birdman as annoying to you as he is to me? (may be because he always seem to be in the mix)

Are there going to be player ejections be fore this series ends?

I doubt Lebron has a game like he did against the Nets, unless no one else is scoring and the Pacers just let him go. The Pacers are much, much better and smarter defensively than the geezer squad known as the Nets.

I'd like to shove the Birdman into a pit of angry wasps. Dude looks like a freaking methhead.

No, but Wade will deserve about two or three. He tried to punch Hibbert on Roy's and-1 near the end of the first half.

Guys looked scary good today. I think a win Tuesday will be tough to overcome for the Heat, but nothing is guaranteed. This could go to 7 as easily as it could be a sweep. One at a time.

News says Lebron ready to pick it up big time. That's Freudian for "watch me put on a solo offensive game". PG knows he has to accordingly pick up his defensive intensity (with help)
We can accept PG's reduced points input since therein lies his focus; teammates will need to deliver. I love the fact there will be Heat players standing around watching "the show".

Exploit! Exploit! Exploit!
Ugh, Turner is active tonight. And Vogel is so stubborn with his rotations
It wouldn't be bad if he actually played within the offense, or even considered playing defense. Buuuuuut he doesn't.

Joey Crawford is officiating the game tonight, so everyone assume the position.

I don't mind Crawford so much. He is a pretty good ref, compared to most NBA refs, the only complaint I have is he loves to be the center of attention, which isn't his job. I'm more concerned about Scott Foster and his crew (though I thought game 1 was pretty well called and didn't have any incidents). And concerned about Tony Brothers, who I wonder how well he sees anymore sometimes.

Butler doesn't really do anything spectacular, but like you mention ET doesn't play within our system on either end. And Butler does...... so yeah I've made my feelings on that felt
