I can't say that I have. I have sometimes received instant messages with links that I will never click.

Normally only way to get hacked like that is by clicking one of the bogus links someone spammed to you. Never heard of replying and getting hacked. Sorry!

I've personally never seen it happen.

I thought this was going to be where someone left their twitter page open and their friend posted as them. That bugs me, it's not hacking its being dumb and leaving your twitter page up.

I honestly don't use Twitter much, I have an account and frequently look at tweets but have only sent 3 ever.... But I noticed the other day i was following a bunch of people that I had never purposely followed.... I don't know if I had read something somebody else had re-tweeted or what.... I just thought it was weird and unfollowed those people but it sounds like possibly the same issue you are having

Yep, that's exactly what happened to me. I replied to Colin Cowherd (double checked to make sure it was actually him) and some guy giving him grief. Then I get a weird message from some guy that said this is the easiest way to add friends and I was following him.
