I have to agree. I've been trying to keep myself calm throughout this hot start because it is indeed a long season.  Lots of things change over the course of an NBA season.  With that being said though, 8-0 is an incredible start and I couldn't be more proud of the guys.  I do believe that the hot start is no fluke, but a true testimony to how solid we are as a team - championship built.  The basketball we are playing now is no doubt championship caliber, it is just a matter of keeping it going all season, and handling any adversity that may come our way.

My concern with this team is I have the old Colts vibe a little bit. What I mean by that is they are Blue collar and go to work everyday. Sometimes I feel like the reason the colts did so well in the regular season is because they cared more.

I think the Pacers care more about each game right now in the regular season. When the playoffs come around, every team cares just as much and focuses on their opponent that much more. I could be off, but that's what I always thought about the Colts.

It doesn't matter where the Heat end up in the standings, we are still going to have to beat them in the playoffs at some point. Great to see our confidence so high right now though. Hope it continues and fans get behind this team. Great group of guys.

My one thing is, wins now count just as much as wins at the end of the season when it comes to playoff seeding. A 1 or 2 seed is ideal for the team, as it would mean at most they would have to play in one road playoff series. I don't think there is a team in the NBA right now that could win back to back road playoff series against the Heat, and Bulls/Nets. I like the cushion they have put between them and the rest of the conference to start the year, but am still not getting too over excited for the what they have done so far, given they are only 8 games in.

Solid performance. Roy with the near triple double, Paul with another 20+ point game. Don't think any of our starters, or top bench guys, reached their average for minutes per game tonight, should help to get a little rest with second night of the back to back being at Chicago.

Just saw an update on Granger. Apparently he is experiencing more soreness in his calf, and will be out until the end of next week.

Not a particularly good start.  Lance is forcing it and a lot of shots are falling short.  

 

As for Granger, I'll believe he is going to play again when I see him check in.

Awful start, PG has been awful so far, missed 2 layups.
