6 solid innings from Bothwell and 19 Hoosier hits result in a 15-4 IU win.  Bothwell allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, walked 2 and struck out 7.  Over the remaining 3 innings, 4 Hoosier pitchers allowed just a single hit.  Mitchell and Brenczewski both went 4-5.  Cerny, Stadler and Pyne each had 3 hits.  Mitchell and Pyne each 4 RBI and Brenczewski and Stadler 3 RBI apiece.  Jasen Oliver extended his hitting streak to 13 games.

Hoosier bats staying hot with an 6-0 lead after 5 complete.  Foley working on a 1-hitter.  He's walked 2 and struck out 8. 

Hoosiers tacked on 7 more runs in the 6th and it's a 13-0 ballgame.

14-2 final score..  Foley maintained a 1-hit shutout through 6 innings and turned the mound over to Tonghini after throwing 116 pitches.  Tonghini pitched the 7th and Manase finished up the 8th and 9th giving up MD's 2 runs on 3 hits.  We had 11 hits in the game.  Pyne 3; Brenczewski, Mathison & Cerny each with 2.  Pyne had 5 RBIs that included a 3-run HR.  Mitchell had 3 RBI and Cerny had 2.  We win the series and hopefully get a sweep tomorrow.

Maryland scores the winning run in the bottom of the ninth for a 6-5 win but we did take the weekend series 2-1.

Rybarczyk started and went 3 innings followed by 4 more IU pitchers who collectively gave up 10 hits, 6 BB while striking out 7.  We managed just 3 hits - 2 from Taylor and 1 from Stadler but MD pitching helped us some with 7 BB.  Our season record now 18-15 and we're 3-3 in conference.

Tuesday night we host Ball State (20-13).  Next weekend we host Penn State (16-12) (4-5).
