Indiana men's soccer (7-3-5, 3-1-3 B1G) will welcome in-state, Division III opponent Trine to Bill Armstrong Stadium Thursday (Oct. 27) night.

The match will be streamed live on the Big Ten Plus digital platform with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. ET.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Indiana continues the final week of the regular season, building up to a Sunday matchup against Maryland with a chance at the Big Ten regular season title.
• The Hoosiers have scored 28 goals from 12 unique goal scorers this season. Redshirt senior Ryan Wittenbrink leads the Hoosiers in points (18) and shares the team-high for goals (6) with sophomore forward Tommy Mihalic.

ABOUT THE THUNDER
• Trine comes into the match with an 8-5-3 record and a 3-2-2 mark in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play. Its last result was a 1-0 loss to Adrian.
• The Thunder are led by sixth-year head coach David Jacobs, who has compiled a 42-32-9 record at Trine.
• Junior forward Tyler Murphy leads the Thunder with eight goals this season.

SERIES HISTORY
• Indiana and Trine met for the first time ever during the 2021 season in a 9-0 victory for the Hoosiers.• Five members of the 2022 squad scored in last year's meeting.

With IU's "B" team playing tonight only two things to learn:

1. Luka Bezerra (Victor's brother) is going to be good and every bit the threat his older bro was as a goal scorer probably by next year.

2. Pratt screwed up yet again in goal at one point in the second half and against any DI squad he is allowing an opposition to score on an awful clearance. I will say it again that IU needs to find an answer at goalie for next season and its not currently on the roster.

Agree on both. Indiana’s B team wasn’t as impressive as I’d hope with Henderlong and Goumballe getting run. Bezzerra is/will be good.
