We just couldn't pull it out.  Iowa wins 88-82.

We had no answer for Iowa's offense in either game we played.

No one has an answer for Iowa's offense.

IU's defense is just fine and when they play Maryland the score will be back to what we are used to with this team in 60's or 70's. Would fully expect that in every other game played the rest of the year against anyone not named Iowa.

The Hawkeyes are a unique animal offensively both in the Big Ten and nationally and to beat them you have to outscore them in 80's or 90's. No one stops them and they don't play any defense hence the high scores. Even with a healthy Mac last year, IU won the games by getting into the 80's and outscoring them. Hoosiers were just on the other end of close high scoring games. To beat them you have to hit shots against their porous defense for all 40 minutes like last season and not just 25-30 minutes like this season or you will lose.
