Almost immediately after his goal, Bezerra was subbed out and came off the field holding his upper leg/groin area.  Hopefully nothing remotely serious.

This team is starting to remind me a lot of 2012 National Title team. Bezerra is the best elite pure scorer we have had since Eriq Zavaleta had nearly 20 goals for that team (proportionately with the shorter season Bezerra's 11 is equally impressive). The team around Zavaleta was similar as well with good, but not elite players outside the goalie which both Soffner and Celantano are.

The 2018 and 2019 teams had far more pro's and top flight players and were better overall teams, but neither squad had he pure scoring ability of Zavaletta or Bezerra.

If IU cashes in 9th title this year it will once again prove how important a top flight scoring forward is regardless of the team you have on the rest of the field (make no mistake IU has had good forwards on those teams but nothing close to Zavaletta or Bezerra).

Enjoy Bezerra this spring because he is going pro almost certainly after this run (and yes I do have some knowledge on that beyond my gut but its not something I know 100%).

Looked like he was limping, but got up on his own, same thing happened to him during the Maryland game
