Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Season opener for Coach Moren and the Lady Hoosiers. Last season Milwaukee was 21-12 and advanced to the second round of the WNIT so it's no slouch although it did lose its top 3 scorers from last season. mamasa Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but since only about 10 of us read this part of the board, I will, lol. I just found a Facebook group for the team, Indiana Women's Basketball Fans (I just searched it). Not sure how good it is, as I just joined, but it's nice to have another information source! Quote

mamasa Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Was just told that Chanel Wilson had surgery, and will be out until much later in the season (if she returns at all this year) Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 Nice article primarily about our transfers Brenna Wise and Ali Patberg but also talks about our other newcomers towards the end. https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Article/Talented-transfers-helping-make-for-a-deeper-IU-womens-basketball-team-in-2018-19-124382142/?fbclid=IwAR1EURdN2BawVNo0FOshFqkbcs4GnCFjD5z6I6DEh_oDiCeEnU8t3xac4r0 HoosierAloha and mamasa 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 8, 2018 Author Posted November 8, 2018 End of 1: IU leading 17-14. It's the anvil chorus in the 1st Q as the teams are a combined 11-31 from the field. IU with 4 TOs and Gulbe picked up 2 fouls in just 2 minutes of action. Marchese our leading scorer with 4 points. mamasa 1 Quote
mamasa Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Sloppy play, cold shooting. Hope this turns around 2nd half! Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

Hoosiers have no answer for Milwaukee's Reit who has 15 of Milwaukee's 30 points. Penn our leading rebounder with 4. mamasa 1 Quote
mamasa Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Thought I heard them say it's a career high for Patberg Quote

In her lone season, she appeared in 22 games and only averaged .8 ppg. mamasa 1 Quote
