#1 Men's/#7 Women's Swimming Double-Dual Meet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Knoxville, Tenn. to face both No. 15/12 Tennessee and No. --/15 Kentucky in a double-dual meet on Friday, Oct. 27 at the Jones Aquatic Center.
 
The one-day, double-dual meet gets underway at 11:00 a.m. ET. The meet will feature a standard, 32-event schedule with diving coming after the 1,000 freestyle and the 200 backstroke.

Scouting the Hoosiers
The Indiana Hoosiers enter the season's first meet with both the men's and women's teams moving up in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25 Poll.
 
The defending Big Ten Champion Hoosier men's team is ranked No. 1 in the nation, after beating No. 2 Texas and No. 4 Florida in a double-dual meet last weekend.
 
The Indiana women moved up three spots into a tie for No. 7 in the poll. The IU women took down No. 18 Florida, but fell to No. 3 Texas last weekend in Gainesville.
 
At last year's double-dual meet against Tennessee and Kentucky, the Hoosiers dominated, walking away with four victories.
 
Scouting the Volunteers and Wildcats
Five of the six teams this Friday in the double-dual meet are ranked in the latest CSCAA/TYR Top 25. The Tennessee men are ranked No. 15 in the nation, while the women's squad comes in at No. 12. For Kentucky, the women's team is ranked No. 15 in the country.
 
Both Kentucky squads enter the weekend perfect on the year, while the Tennessee men are also undefeated. The Volunteer women are 2-1 on the season.
 
Four Hoosiers Earn Weekly Swimming & Diving Big Ten Honors
Lilly King was named co-Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Jessica Parratto was named co-Diver of the Week. Grace Haskett was named the women's Freshman of the Week.
 
On the men's side, Blake Pieroni was named co-Men's Swimmer of the Week. Pieroni was also named CollegeSwimming.com's DI National Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday.
 
IU Men Ranked No. 1 in Nation in CSCAA/TYR Top 25
In the first CSCAA/TYR Top 25 poll released on Oct. 25, the Indiana men's swimming and diving team was ranked No. 1 in the nation after sweeping both Texas and Florida to start the season. The women's team was ranked in a tie for No. 7 in the country.
