The biggest problem in the last 20 - 30 years has been the Administration of the university than the AD. Sure, the AD has made some really questionable hires, but the Administration got jealous of the attention that Knight got. They didn't think athletics should be the most popular thing of the university which put a lot of problems on the AD. Whitten putting an emphasis on Football will benefit the university more than just about anything the previous Presidents of the University has done in 30 years.

I don't see the NCAA doing a thing about it. They have lost too many court cases and have basically become powerless because of it. Congress could probably do something, but they would rather sit on their hands than do anything right now. The P4 conferences are more likely to break away than the NCAA doing anything.

If they want to pump all kinds of PEDs into their system not caring what the long term effects are and compete against others doing the same, go for it. Is it cheating if all the competitors are doing PEDs and know it? I am not a fan of it when you have it outlawed in a sport, and you get some of them doing it. If they are in their own little corner pumping crap into their systems like each of the competitors, knock yourselves out.

I don't see them renaming AH after him while you have the court named after McCracken already. A statue is the most likely unless they build a new arena and name it after Knight which I do not see happening at all.

I heard a few years ago from a UK fan that the Yum Center will not let UK use it because of UL will not allow it. Whether or not that is the case, I don't know, but it would make sense seeing that is where UL plays.

Isn't it like the NBA where you want to get to that second contract ASAP because that is where the money is made. A rookie can negotiate that second contract after the 3rd season I do believe. If he believes in himself like he seems to, he can get $50+ million a year. He would be kinda crazy to stay

I read about the first 30 pages of the MSU board posted from the link in the other thread, and they are hearing that they stick with an interim for the next season if they don't get someone UM wants. They would be crazy to do that and be stuck like OSU in their basketball with a Diebler situation.
