  1. He’s expanded his game. Handles and vision way better. Rebounded the ball well against a big and physical Tennessee team.
  2. My personal belief is that the majority of these numbers are significantly overinflated and/or paid out in installments over a set amount of years. At least when it comes to what you hear collectives are willing to pay. So if JuJu were to really get $2.5 million it's probably contingent on: a) him enrolling at IU and staying at IU b) paid out in installments until his eligibility is up I don't think he's getting a lump sum up front and then expecting a new NIL deal the next year. Now I certainly believe that some schools promise all this stuff and some players truly believe they are going to get money that's never been contractualized and that's a big reason for the portal growing year by year, but when I hear "X and X is making so much here" I typically take it with a grain of salt and would be surprised if they actually see half of the figure being thrown out. TAMU had the #1 recruiting class two seasons ago and rumored to have spent $6-8mil alone on the freshman. More than half of that class has transferred out and many of those recruits have claimed they only saw a fraction of what was promised and in some instances no money at all.
  3. But how can this instill confidence...IT's JUsT aN EXhIbITiOn GAmE.
  4. I know how exhibitions work, didn't exclude the board freaking out in the first half when they shot 0-11 from 3. I just know that you and your parade of losers would have extended the FMW thread 10+ pages had they lost that game Sunday.
  5. I'm not trying to find any conflict lol, simply pointing out your utter hypocrisy which is typical but expected.
  6. Then why try and discredit the win calling it an exhibition game lol.
  7. This board would have been in midseason meltdown mode had IU lost an "exhibition" game. Don't get it twisted.
  8. Beat a fringe top 10 team on the road down a couple key pieces without shooting the ball particularly well. Yeah......it's going to be a loooooong season for some.
  9. I’m laughing at Chris…
  10. Lol https://x.com/itsantwright/status/1850648712340533693?s=46&t=w6QCfPv_ohX9q670DTqgcA
  11. Screws would definitely indicate some kind of fracture. Kudos to the IU medical staff if Rourke is indeed able to go next week. Tough kid.
  12. Gary Parrish is an Archie Miller simp. Does anybody still pay attention to him?
  13. I'm telling you that not a single team in America is going to sag off Myles Rice this season because of a box score. And if they do, they'll pay dearly.
  14. A true freshman struggling to adjust to the speed of the college game didn't shoot lights out right out of the gate? Nope, never heard of that happening before lol. The horror!!!!
  15. I consider a 30 game sample size a much more appropriate measure than a 5 game sample set that included a massive slump to end the year for a first year player coming off radiation therapy. But you do you. Keeping receipts and taking names. March will be fun, too bad you won't be watching...but I'll be sure to be here to give you the recap.
  16. This has been discussed 100 times over. Rice was shooting 36% until an 0-22 slump the last 6 games of the season plummeted his average...call it a "freshman wall". Carlyle shot over 40% from 3 playing off the ball, a role he will primarily play here at Indiana. But glad you know how to read a box score.
  17. 38% on volume for a true freshman in a 20 game conference slate isn't good? You're an idiot!
  18. No I didn't. The direct player named improved his shooting tenfold in a matter of months.
  19. Rice and Carlyle will be All-American's if teams sag off them like they did Galloway, Cupps, XJ last year.
  20. What does that have to do with the Mgbako who was named specifically who unequivocally improved his shooting? Over the course of his freshman season nonetheless.
  21. Mgbako shot 22% (10/44) November/December and 37% (40/109) Jan-March. But yeah....narratives.
  22. HSN. Just wasted an hour reading a bunch of fanbois re-living their fantasy.
