T. Moren noted there were 6 starters meaning comparing playing time.
-
Maybe some star level high ability girls like T. Moren (and staff)…T. Moren (and staff) are pretty likable…maybe they are looking for that IU Ladies family character in the program.
-
6 starters
-
Iowa State blog is following that as well.
-
There will be 6 starters meaning equal minutes except for Mac will get the over in minutes but she will want to keep knee good (so that may vary a little depending on situations)….Lilly will get playing time and if another tall good player comes in will also play maybe with Mac or Lilly at times….depending on who.
-
And yes IU Ladies basketball is going to get a couple impactful players from the transfer portal.
-
Parrish has a very legitimate chance to be one of the very best players in the country….if the refs quit picking on her. (sometimes aggressive good plays cause fouls but Parrish gets called for more than her share of fouls by bad calls from refs). It’s great to see Parrish talent being so much more utilized at IU Ladies basketball program. She seems very happy and likewise T. Moren and staff.

Scalia will have a bigger role and be pretty improved along with Parrish. If IU Ladies are going to be at the top of conference and be a final 4 contender with some high level confidence with some swagger…IU Ladies cannot be idle…I think they will continue to charge North with transfer portal (2 impact players)
-
Yes they can figure out a formula…plus account for dents and dings putting it mildly in a long season. Also this would kind of surprise me…but would IU MBA program have any significance to Van Lith decision?
-
IU Ladies need 2 transfer portal players that will have ability to be involved. Already have a player who does not require minutes…don’t need another one…with the guard/forward being first priority. Chloe Moore-McNeil is a very versatile player that can be utilized in a variety of ways and not just at point all the time…very interchangeable with different players on court. Donarski has good scoring ability. I think T. Moren had higher hopes for Geary in ability and performance. However, Geary is a great teammate and person.

I know nothing. When the transfer portal started to heat up…a Berger plug- in so to speak which I identified as Donarski plus a player behind Holmes to share with L.M. preferred tall that is good so IU Ladies have another strategy to go over top inside (when advantageous). The Berger plug-in is most important. Since then all kinds of players in portal including Van Lith….blending contently in with team is first priority. Both, Parrish and Scalia dealt and fought through challenges and each are and have been great at doing this very thing.

2 for IU Ladies? (GOOD ONES that can highly contribute and be impactful)

What do teams call themselves nowadays? All the musical chair transfers. For example Indiana Hoosiers? Thus far…Are they Hoosiers Ducks Cardinals or Cardinals Ducks Hoosiers or Ducks Hoosiers Cardinals??? Very confusing what sex or I mean what teams fans actually cheer for like professional sports…. I mean Scott May, Quinn Buckner, Kent Benson, Steve Green, Steve Alford, Mike Woodson, Randy Wittman, Slick Leonard, are just a few off the top of my head in about 30 seconds among many others….I knew exactly the team as well as other fans regarding there teams…. I was cheering for and still are remembered….Those were the days.

IU Ladies basketball is an elite family nucleus. However, another perspective Cavinder twins out at Miami…thanking everyone for the good times and moving on to be (Money) influencers….WWE?? Sure they had a great run and what happened at IU but honestly I don’t think anything regarding basketball is that important to them like it is to IU Ladies basketball program family…we’ll, put another way….keeping everything in perspective and opportunities to make lots of money…lots of money and do there own things. Sometimes (I suppose) basketball life is just not fair. -
Indiana Fever….Berger on assist to Boston. Berger pull up for 2. Berger for 3 Boom Baby! Indiana Fever a winner in this one. As life goes on…sure is different….Holmes and the rest of the IU Ladies…. Congratulations Grace Berger!

(2024) - Faith Wiseman to INDIANA

Don’t disagree…6’4” upside….maybe role player, and on bench freshman and sophomore year and upside into junior year and senior year. It will pretty much depend on her…work, weight room, 3 point shooting development, wing player who knows right now. She had interest from other schools like Iowa and Maryland I think. Maybe at some point she becomes a starter or maybe she becomes a player off the bench….it will ultimately depend on how much work she will put in. -

Nothing that a couple million dollars can’t change -
IU has a good MBA

Musical Chairs…. IU Ladies basketball has participated with 3 out and leaving 4 open chairs….11 chairs of team in tact and could use 1 or 2 impact players in a chair or 2. Sidenote: non impactful players not needed. (also did bringing in recent transfer portal player play into Van Lith decision…I don’t think so) Wonder if the character of T. Moren and staff and IU Ladies team have heated up?
-
Those two you mentioned above….nah, I don’t think they would be the right fit for IU Ladies.
-
1 high level big needed and 1 high level excellent player Berger type plug in player mid range with 3 point ability….who doesn’t need elite high level players??? When playing they add to level of play and or there is 0 drop off in play. note: Freshman coming in will need a year. Chloe may need a little rest and playing support some to keep her at high level fresh (along with the others) Currently, L.M. is really good coming off bench. Still developing into higher level. Currently, Bargesser is good coming off bench. Still developing into higher level. Same with Sadvik.

Clarification: The above is a simple analogy of speed regarding most things that is IU men’s basketball in the 21st century.
-
Cruising down the highway with a 70mph speed limit @ 40mph with the windows down and both hands firmly on the steering wheel @ the 10:00 o’clock and 2:00 o’clock position taking a Sunday afternoon cruise.

So many players write LOVE letters to the school where he or she is enrolled….ending the letter with that being said I will continue my career at another school somewhere else.
