Guys like Woodson and Allen and many others I have to give them credit whether earned or not whether fair or not they are some of the more well off financially people in the world….if they are just average in taking care of the money they have been given.

Watching Parrish play briefly whether called ready or not….an unchallenged rebound but definitely not impactful.

Illinois gave IU problems last year at IU but IU was able to win. Weaknesses exposed and lack of mid range game both offensively and also defensively allowing opponents getting to rim for layups. Guard quickness that is good IU Ladies have difficulty containing them. And no help from L.M., J.L., Or L.B. part of the near future of IU Ladies Basketball. Lacking team physicality (except for Holmes).

Nothing from Lilly, Beaumont, or Lamendola. Lot of questions…No help. No 3 point game today..

Illinois average ball club but IU Ladies once again having trouble handling quickness and just looking slow mentally and physically.

Lost lead when Moore McNeil past on 3 ball. Result Garzon miss and swung momentum to Illinois to close out quarter with lead. IU Ladies can’t be hesitant.

He hasn’t, he doesn’t, he won’t, he can’t….nor any of the staff.

Coach Mike Woodson and Calbert Cheaney and the rest of the IU coaching staff led by Woodson may think they are doing a very good job working with young players. They just have a couple bad breaks here and there. They may feel just a couple more made shots, a made free throw, a rebound, one less turnover, and IU men’s basketball will turn around and we will do it. Let’s go smoke a cigar and have a Schlitz malt liquor.

When talking about IU men basketball don’t blame President Whitten….yet, anyway.

Simply put Mike Woodson and Calbert Cheaney were great IU basketball players and leaders of the program as players. Not coaches at IU. I will remember them as players. Not coaches and it’s time for damage control and this failed experiment to end.

Money and raises over the last few decades have accelerated in recent years like snowflakes in a blizzard. The coaches on IU bench look like a doofus cartoon as is the men’s basketball program. Games are not lost on game day. Games are lost on every day except game day. Game day is the result of every other day during the year or in the case of IU the last quarter of a century.

Glad to see IU Ladies trying on/wearing new weird uniforms…they need to have some practice in them so they won’t be foreign to them at game time vs Iowa.

Good thing IU Ladies left town to not be around Sunday game in the IU gym.
