No. Chen plus another (good) big /tall.
-
Kaitlyn Chen5’8 or 5’9” guard from Princeton would be a great addition to IU Ladies for 2024-2025 season….. another big.
-
I’m retired, but enjoy your day off. The older one gets the faster time goes because there is less of it. Seems like just a few days ago I was getting a weather related delay or day off work but that was about a decade ago.

Way IU Ladies place 1, 2, or 3 in conference and play in finals of big ten conference tournament and make it to final 4. 1. Sidney Parrish, Holmes and everyone else is and stays healthy. 2. Garzon shifts gear for the better. 3. Players /Team plays at its best. 4. Chloe does what Chloe does at high level. 5. Sara Scalia plays well enough to win the Meyers Drysdale award. all the above is reasonably possible.

Understand. Retired Lol.

Same conversation…drama…as in professional sports.
-
Caitlin Clark should make an excellent professional basketball player.
-
Parrish or Berger on crutches. And similar scenario…just shouldn’t happen. Or Scalia, Holmes, Garzon Moore-McNeil, Bargesser etc etc etc. Extension of arms is kinda split second reaction. CLARK is innocent.

On and on…UCONN in tournament to aid UCONN run ( maybe Edwards, not sure) fouls Gulbe on shot, fouls her again down the court and then knocks Gulbe to the ground as UCONN scores. Obvious and refs had to see it but no call. Reason I say Edwards is because of color in braids extensions.
-
I do blame refs for no calls on C.C. Such as travel, fouls including flagrant, and arguing with refs…she gets away with some stuff. Refs need to control in this case and all games…as looking at incidents with players across the conferences especially SEC in my examples (no place for dirty play, aggressive dangerous almost fighting, hitting or punching and jaw jacking in women games) plus vs Rutgers last season IU player (may have been Holmes) was tackled after stealing ball and going for layup when Rutgers was already beat big at assembly hall. Holmes was not hurt but did take a hard fall.
-
Excellent points and I like Clark and pretty much all she represents plus she constantly trying to gain a winning edge ( theatrics including refs getting away with a foul or travel once in a great while) mostly unbelievable plays and scoring. As a person she is a great representative of a human being. And of course if she played at IU (probably) every one would absolutely LOVE her.

(2024) - Mikayla Blakes to Vanderbilt
TTT replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Women's Basketball
Goodman ask Blakes why Vandy? It was the same answer you would have heard if she had picked IU including loves to play defense. Shea Ralph who is Vanderbilts's coach (nat’l championship as player at UCONN, assistant at UCONN for years and coached many future pro players from UCONN, husband assistant coach. -
2023-2024 thru 16 games against lesser competition at lower level school average is 21.1 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 39.2fg% getting over 39 minutes per game. K.P. is getting a taste of losing as UCF on a 5 game losing streak and are 9-7 for the year. To bad she didn’t have attitude that allowed her to develop and be content as team player at elite team level.

IU Ladies put effort in the following girls to add to 2024 class Avery Hollew, Zania Nguyen Socka, and Mikayla Blakes. And all would have competed for playing time and starting five. This is one reason IU Ladies have not been able to expand some elite depth. Need transfer portal help for 2024-2025. It seems a little harder than it should be. R. W. were at Blakes, and Socka summer camps/games. Not sure how much on Howell though IU Ladies were in her top 5. Then, there is Prince to Nebraska…got caught up in silly statement as underclassman.

Wrong again. Another swing and a miss for an elite player in 2024. -
Josh schertz…want to win or just want a big name? FYI: John Wooden coached at Indiana State

(2025) - Maya Makalusky to INDIANA

Pictures show her smiling and wearing a boot on right foot. -
If IU Lady basketball player was involved in an after game storming situation where an injury even a slight injury occurred or I suppose it could be a serious injury….what would be the attitude….would it be critical of the player because it could happen.
-
UCONN, SC, UCLA, Stanford, LSU and a few others have Eliteness on the bench that are very capable to impact games. Example UCONN injury/s there is a somewhat elite player/s that can go. IU has had it to a degree (not so this year) and operates on a thin line….IU, T. Moren and staff have worked and created to put together a very high level program with player development and for the most part elite high school players don’t flock to IU.
