    The way BK recruited and I am sure CMW has the same thought process, good guards are key to a successful program, especially wings!

    I hate the fact that USC & UCLA are joining the B10 on so many levels! Other than money, it is the stupidest thing they’ve done! I hate it!

    That’s important! Peaking mid to late B10 season will be something to look for going into the B10 and NCAA tournament. BK’s 3 National title teams peaked about mid B10 season!

    Most of these current players don’t know what it is like to play this type of talent that will be displayed for a non conference schedule. We will see early on how well they prepare and how mentally tough they are. It will be fun to see and watch and win or lose, will help this team improve by year end!

    My bad, I stand corrected! I just assumed it was on Saturday. I can’t ever remember it ever being on a Friday, that’s why I assumed it was Saturday. I won’t be able to attend, to far of a drive, dang it!

    The B10 announced the home, away and home/away opponents today. I don’t think the B10 really wants IU to win it because, IMO, they play the toughest home/away opponents of any potential contending team.

    He didn’t shoot it great from 3, but ok. The encouraging stat was his ability to connect from the free throw line. We haven’t had great free throw shooters the past several years!

    Class of 2024 5 star IU target is considering reclassifying to the class of 2023. He was a teammate of Fino and Reneau this past year. It could be he wants to team with them again and knows that IU will have at least 1 opening in the front court positions and more likely 2 spots will be open because TJD will most likely leave after this year! https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/2024-iu ... to-report/

    I like the players that CMW has been adding! They seem to be high character, hard working, and unselfish players who can and will make the entire school and fanbase proud

    That tells me it’s team and first over their own personal numbers. That means they are very unselfish players who put everything else fist above their own numbers, but they get good by working on their game on their own and through great competition

    I would have liked for us to play Ball State instead of Miami of Ohio if we are going to play a MAC team!

    I think we are underrated, IMO, but I really understand why we are, for the exact reason you described and the fact that we haven’t proven ourselves. I think our shooting we be improved and our offense will be improved because CMW will place a little more emphasis on it now that they have had a full year of his defensive scheme under their belts!

    Jeff Goodman has IU ranked 11th, about where I think they should be! They are highest ranked B10 team, they next highest is Illinois at 20th. We should be the clear cut favorite to win the B10!     That’s great! I know most people don’t think we are a top 10 team but I do, especially if we get some guys, like I think we will, knock down 3’s and make a jump with improvement

    That was definitely the last team with this kind of expectation and hype, but that team was nearly as deep as this team

    Yes, based off the last 2 years but I am hopeful we’ll make a jump in 3 point consistency, especially the veteran players having already spent a complete year under Woodson. He shouldn’t have to completely teach his defensive philosophy, which should allow him to put more emphasis on offense
