Yeah, but they've gotten 2 of em to commit/sign... Indiana won't be as attractive to some kids like it is to others. Our history won't mean as much, etc. I have a feeling the staff may be using a different approach...such as let's keep it quiet for now. Guarantee they're working several hours a day behind the scenes.

Unfortunately for TJD, it seems like nature is sending him back to Bloomington for a 4th season. Hope he's able to get some individual workouts in, then get feedback. Hope he bounces back as well.

Haven't posted in quite some time, lurked a lot though! NIL to me was players could be featured on advertisements, in commercials, or brand their own clothing, etc. They could make money off of their name, image, or likeness. I didn't see "contracts" coming, or whatever Miami gave to Pack. College basketball players are no longer "amateurs" and never will be again.

I have the same % of suiting up for the Hoosiers as he does. Hope it all works out for him

2 and done most likely. I think the one and done players will go more of the OE route, or G League. Kids (young adults) being able to make money off of their NIL may want to stay an extra year to hone their games? Also, I made a suggestion once the NIL was approved...all these guys who will make major $$$ should major in business...help give them an idea of investing and other avenues. What a time to watch it all unfold!

Sorry for not posting in quite some time...IMO JHS has the potential to be the best guards we've gotten in the last 10 years...The potential and leadership qualities are already present. Pair him with TB next season....Lawd.

If all 5 of those items occur? Sheesh...we could be playing on the final weekend of the season in early April... I think the biggest improvement that will be made is the ebb and flow of the offense in the halfcourt...so many of our guards have been misused over the past four years. Better spacing, especially when TJD faces a certain double team (esp if #5 above is true) 1. KL- can literally go nowhere but up. Like make a couple layups and it's already better lol. Hope he finds his niche, think he's got the most to benefit from new staff. 2. XJ- can't wait to see him on both ends. Would take similar stats from him, vocal on floor leader 3. TB will be, just wait. My favorite recruit since Yogi 4. MK- upperclassman, familiar with big ten 5. All American potential, NPOY potential, would love to see him RUN the floor every possession he's in!

I'm just tired of reading negativity. My credentials? I'm a high school special ed teacher and assistant boys basketball coach. Been an IU fan for most of my 38 years. Unless anybody has ESP, there's no telling whether it will be a good or bad hire. We have no data. At least give it a chance. There's a guy in charge of all this that makes a lot more money than I ever will. I hope you're watching the presser like I am.

Some of y'all that are calling this a bad hire...what exactly are your credentials to deem this so? The guy has had the job less than 24 hours, and it's terrible? How can something that hasn't even taken place yet be so terrible? Give it a shot. Damn man, I hope some of you aren't this negative in real life. You'd be unbearable to be around.
