South Carolina at Indiana Today 3 PM Peacock

Home game against an unranked opponent (didn't even receive a vote) and we are 7.5 point favorites. We need to handle them. -

Man, Woodson is going to be salty today when he hears the football coach doubled his pay...... -

Depends...how much you going to donate? -
L-A-Z-Y Simple as that.

That is literally the dumbest **** I have ever heard. Two senior leaders are too "buddy, buddy"? That is what you want on a team. Being that way helps dudes get through long seasons. Woodson is a clown. A petty, lazy, potentially bigoted (the elephant in the room being the difference between the players and families he wanted to be involved with and those he was more hands off). Screw him.

Someone should make that clear to Woody too. He isn't Bob Knight and doesn't have anywhere near the armor the General had to be an @$$ to people.

I could live with the mercenaries if he knew WTF to do with them.... -
Didn't he come in with Langford? Langford has already played himself into the NBA and then out to the G League and Hunter still out there playing college ball.....

They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

Taking the coaching out of it, I would say that he is probably a streaky shooter and that if put into the right type of system that there is something to work with there. He isn't a drop dead shooter but he is someone that other teams should have to guard. If they sag off of him to stop the drive, he has shown ability to make teams pay for that. If he can shoot around 35% (with volume) that should be good enough. Now I know that completely overlooks the elephant in the room....I just don't want to buy into the narrative that this isn't a good roster. It is. There is no excuse for the staff not to excel with the roster they built. There is talent. They can't complain about the new faces because this is how they want to build their roster. We should expect a Top 20 team all year at worst. -

I think your opinion of the pieces would be higher if you had more respect for the head guy's ability to use them properly. This is a good roster. -

https://x.com/reversejackfan2/status/1849461235307159704 A tweet quoting Rabjohns bringing some heat in the response to Ant Wright. Hurley didn't take the warm months off to go golfing and our retiree did. I don't understand the loyalty some people have to this dude. -

I think if there wasn't like 3 weeks to digest the information that there likely would have been a little more angst. We have known for a few weeks this was coming so the announcement was kind of anticlimactic. -

Fudging Woody man. -

We have known this for a few weeks, the Twitter crowd has just started to find out. Early returns suggest that Woodson is going to have a bad social media day.... He better pray that the Bahamas go well. -

I will take that as, "Yes, everything you said in that post was accurate," and move on. -

He gets it right like 5 minutes before they announce. Whoopee. And this isn't some full throated defense of Rabjohns, just saying all of it is wild @$$ guesses until someone on the staff feeds them the commitment info. Getting that info a day before someone announces is just thunder stealing. They all do it, like Rabjohns did to Yogi. You just don't like Rabjohns because he brought out the long knives on Woodson. -

All of those recruiting sites are hacks. All of them. They put in the same guesses that any of us could do and then change their guess at the last minute to match where they hear the kid is going. Rabjohns is no more of a hack than the Trilly Donovan that everyone slobbers all over. None of those recruiting sites are worth what they charge. -

Any recruiting site is going to have **** content these days if IU is their topic because almost all of our recruiting begins and ends in a 2 month window in the spring. -

Nah, I wouldn't ever take back a local kid that chose somewhere else and then wanted to come back because the grass wasn't greener over there. If you were local and actively being recruited by our program and chose somewhere else, best luck in life to you.
