Mike Davis was a better coach. You give him Woodson's payroll ability at that time and I bet you he would have rarely missed the tournament. He wasn't a great coach but he was serviceable.

Yeah, you are talking finishing around 11-7 in the BIG (12-8) to have a chance IMO. That would put them at like 21-10 and you would think a few decent wins. Anything less than that and they are going to be facing a real uphill battle.

Tony Adragna drug him yesterday. Tyme's time is running out. He does have a little bit of a point with some of the issues in the administration, but 95%+ of the problems in the program is the coach. In fact, the coach is just an extension of the newest group of people Tyme wants to push blame on.

Just another data point. I know people will say the Fife thing and this are sour grapes but I think there is some legitimate beef behind all these.

I don't think he should be the Coach but that is co-signing things we have heard about Woodson. -Not a good leader or work environment? Check -Doesn't take the time or care enough about individuals to get personal things (like their name) right? Check I imagine that if things continue on the course they are on this year, more people are going to have "Hoosier Hysteric", Brian Evans, and now Dane Fife kind of things to say.

So I actually somewhat agree with Tyme. There is a deeper issue than just Woodson. There is an issue in the administration with the people who placed him in his position. If we believe that Dolson was forced to accept Woodson by these people, I think letting this season bottom out may be the best course of action. It would help to neuter the people who installed Woodson when it comes to picking the next guy. "You know what?" everyone else thinks, "We let Dolson do his job unencumbered with football and we ended up in the CFP. Maybe you guys sit this one out and let him do what we pay him to do." I don't know if that happens if this season is saved. You need Buckner and Ferguson and the money guys sidelined a bit.

That wasn't a positive performance. It was a win against likely the worst team in the conference and we couldn't pull away from them.

No. I think a few people are saying that but the majority are saying that it is time to move on after this year. Me personally, removing my distatse for how he acts, I don't think Woodson is worth the squeeze after this year. He isn't a championship level coach and if we roll out the same payroll for the next guy, there are probably a hundred better options than him out there. Firing him now doesn't really change anything, but if I was Dolson my mind would already be made up that this is his swan song.....now whether or not Scott has the political capital to pull that off will probably depend on how the year goes. If I were him though, a good Woodson season I would send him off a "hero" and a bad season I would have him "retire", but at the end of the day, this would be his last year if I were Dolson and there were no other interests involved.

One game, preceded by several others the past 3 years and followed by another butt stomping a day later. Do go on though....

Some of the players kind of play like they don't give a sh*t. It really is an NBA in the 3rd game of a 4 game cross country road trip type of attitude. Your view of Reneau's effort doesn't match what I have noticed this year. I didn't get to watch this game so maybe today was different but he was featured on quite a few social media posts the past few games mailing it in....

Is saying he is lazy and seems to be a thin-skinned **** a personal attack? Would that make me not a true fan? Woodson nuked the "be nice" bridge on senior day last year. He deserves all the criticism and most of the criticism you could level at him has smoke. (So I guess that is a no from me on the high road.)

Cignetti has real assistants that coach as well. Our top 2 guys would all be number 3 recruiting guys on any other bench.

You watch a guy pour concrete for your neighbor's driveways. He has some hires that do things a little off and he gets the job done but the driveways are uneven and have cracks. He hires a new crew put together from other reputable concrete crews and says that now he has the crew he wants to do things his way. You watch them the first few days and notice the same mistakes being made by this new crew that were made by the others. Do you pull the plug based on your neighbors driveways in the belief that, "Hey, there is one common denominator here..." or do you wait until he is 3/4 of the way done with you driveway before speaking up?
