  1. football coach
  2. A development recruit for the men. I think this is Kristina Paegle's brother. https://swimswam.com/lukas-paegle-stays-in-state-with-commitment-to-indianas-class-of-2029/
  3. Less than 0% chance? So negative. I guess that means they'll be calling IU asking for the job.
  4. That was part of Davis' problem as well. The arrogance of Woodson is the opposite problem. It keeps him from actually looking for solutions and turns fans off. Confidence is important but arrogance is detrimental.
  5. Multiple reasons. Antitrust exemptions, player unionization which leads to CBAs, contracts are a few. Also, making the players employees makes a huge difference.
  6. Why would friends of the Mullins family know anything more about that than anyone on message boards? I have a hard time believing Dolson or anyone else would talk about that to a recruit, his family, or his family's friends.
  7. Huge win. We may as well get ready to hang a banner this year since I'm sure IU will continue this inspired play.
  8. Strained elbow on his drinking arm due to bad form on his beer curls?
  9. I think he was out of eligibility anyways. Good luck to him.
  10. HS recruiting is for losers like Dan Hurley and Matt Painter, not winners like Mike Woodson.
  11. If we could get 1 of the 4, he would be my choice. I hope the staff can convince him to go to IU for his final year.
  12. New names: https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-football-transfer-portal-tracker-following-the-2024-regular-season/ Jimmoir "Mori" Robinson, Edge from UTSA. 6-5, 250 (or 6-6, 235 depending on where you look) AAC DPOY Out of JUCO was a 3* that had a decent offer list. Interesting that he ended up at UTSA. Last year had 10.5 sacks, 17 TFL, 43 tackles (combined), 2 PD, 1 FR, 2 FF https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jimmori-robinson-1.html ___________________________________________________ Christian Harrison, S from Tennessee. 6-1, 191, 2 years eligibility 3* transfer, son of Rodney Harrison Last year 20 tackles, 3 TFL, 0.5 sacks, 1 PD https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/christian-harrison-1.html ___________________________________________________ Holden Staes, TE from Tennessee. 6-4, 248 3* transfer, 4* out of HS. Was at ND 2 years, TN 1 year started a bit at both schools https://www.footballdb.com/players/holden-staes-staes0001 ___________________________________________________ Hardley Gilmore, WR from Kentucky. 6-1, 178, 3 years eligibility HS scouting report: https://247sports.com/player/hardley-gilmore-iv-46114844/ 6 receptions in 7 games for 153 yards, 1 TD https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/hardley-gilmore-iv-1.html
  13. Going through the motions and Woodson is probably in denial or clueless.
  14. The effect of the football team's season on the swim team: https://swimswam.com/how-indianas-cinderella-season-in-football-is-trickling-down-to-swimmings-ncaa-title-hopes/ Obvious SEC fan whining in the comments makes me happy.
  15. I have a hard time believing there isn't some sort of face to face evaluation to see if someone is a fit. Especially for someone moving up from a mid-major. Are you saying they just select who they want as a coach then say, "hey, do you want this job? Here's our offer."
  16. I'm not so sure about that. Maybe based on his record alone it was a good hire but there were other things that should have been caught in the interviewing process. Like his total lack of personality, that he didn't want to fund raise, etc.
  17. Alford isn't a very good coach, either. Better than Woodson, but that is a very low bar.
  18. Sam Lindsey from Georgia State. 3 years eligibility.
  19. We're not talking about fans, we're talking about a coach who might want the IU job. If they don't already know the situation, they should find it out without IU having to explain it to them.
  20. Looks like even that was an overestimate of his capabilities.
  21. Any coach who is in line should have an idea of what Woodson has done here. Getting blown out on 2/3 of his P4 loses. Making the tournament, yes, but only securely one time followed by a quick exit via blow out each time. Never seriously competing for a B1G title, regular season or tournament. Archaic style that neither fans nor recruits like. Fans losing interest. And on and on. It doesn't take much research to find these things out of there not already known. If a coach can't be bothered to find those things out, he shouldn't be seriously considered. IU expects more than squeaking into the tournament. If he doesn't think he can live to to the expectations of IU, he doesn't belong. Also, putting them in the tournament this year is getting way ahead of ourselves.
  22. Why are you defending Woodson!? :)
  23. I've seen plenty of articles which have turned against ESPN, Herbstreit, Finebaum, Kiffin, and the other SEC shills for their hypocrisy.
  24. lmao. I like Woodson? No, I do not and I've been very clear about that for a long time. Pointing out stupid posts isn't a defense of him, it's simply pointing out stupid posts. Call it a grift, I have no problem with that. It's just not a Ponzi scheme type of grift.
  25. Incorrect. In a Ponzi scheme, the latest investments are used to pay the earlier investors monetary returns. So there are several ways in which this is definitely not a Ponzi scheme. Do you realize there are types of fraud other than just Ponzi schemes? This isn't a pyramid scheme, either. Also, you liked your own incorrect post? lmao
