  1. He and, until recently, Galloway haven't been playing nearly as well as they're capable of. Kind of disappointing since those two were what I thought were known variables entering the season. At least Galloway is looking better, time for Johnson to get it together.
  2. It definitely doesn't hurt for other recruits to see that. That said, I'm ready for this clown show of a recruitment to be done. 1 more day.
  3. You left out the "I don't really care" part right after that which obviously isn't true.
  4. I'm ready for it to be over so we can stop hearing about his lame troll attempts.
  5. You'll probably be disappointed since he'll likely be back next year.
  6. Former college DC and NFL secondary coach? Works for me.
  7. I've been trying to find this out. No where has mentioned him being a grad transfer (1 place I saw called him a Senior) but they also don't mention him having to get a waiver. I don't know why it would be a sure thing if he's not a grad transfer, unless the NCAA is still handing out waivers for football players after a coaching change. They're not for other sports.
  8. Let's not forget that Alabama didn't just get beat soundly by Texas, they got beat soundly by Texas at home. I've heard the argument that basically says Alabama is a different team now because that happened in week 2. Okay, then, when do losses start to count? Week 3? Week 6? When? I thought the whole season was supposed to count but I guess not.
  9. Former IU commitment.
  10. Either can't perform or just didn't fit the system. Although the Etheridge one would be odd for either of those. He was recruited by JMU and had offers from Penn State, Duke, VT, and a few other P5 schools. So that one may have been his choice, since he didn't commit to JMU in the first place.
  11. I'm pretty sure you're correct. Carpenter and Etheridge were both quoted in a article saying they liked the Cignetti hire. Edit: Here's the article. All 3 were mentioned in it and 2 were recruited by by JMU according to the article and their 247 profiles. https://247sports.com/article/indiana-football-curt-cignetti-hired-recruits-talk-hoosiers-221872939/
  12. I will add that I hope Alabama gets absolutely destroyed in their game. I mean, I'd want that anyways but now I really want it to happen. Make the decision look that much worse. I don't think of it as rooting for Michigan (I don't think I could do that), but more of rooting against Alabama and the committee. I don't like FSU and I totally expected this to happen but it still pisses me off.
  13. You forgot the 23rd player: money. FSU and the ACC don't bring in as much money as Alabama and the $EC. That's the most important player to the committee.
  14. There's a first time for everything and I think this year will be that. The committee doesn't have the balls (and probably doesn't even want) to leave the SEC out. FSU without their starting QB is just the excuse they need.
  15. Ohio State probably won't even be in the mix. Your ideal playoff is the one that will likely happen. If it doesn't it'll be because Washington also gets left out to put Georgia in but I have a hard time believing they'd leave out 2 undefeated P5 champions. FSU is understandable. FSU and Washington? May as well change the name to the SEC Invitational.
  16. Both of these championship games are brutal to watch.
  17. How dumb is FSU's QB? Just run it out of bounds for a huge loss instead of throwing it away? Really?
  18. They were asked which B1G coach they wouldn't want to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Most were obviously joking but Willard said "Woodson" in a rather terse, serious fashion. I don't know if I'd read anything into that, though, unless there are other reasons to think there's bad blood there. Edit: here it is. https://www.tiktok.com/@bigtennetwork/video/7304319196861648159
  19. Right, but is he a grad transfer? The article I saw didn't mention it.
  20. Would McCloud even be able to play next year? He's used his "free" transfer and a coaching change is no longer something the NCAA will give a waiver for. Is he a grad transfer? He's been in school long enough.
  21. I'm guessing this decision was made on the side of the coaching staff. I think he was in an that article with quotes from recruits saying he was looking forward to playing for Cignetti.
  22. Right, because the situation with Gunn is totally the same as those two. Calling to for a sophomore who hasn't played well his whole career is totally the same as calling for a 5* freshman in his first few games or a 5th year player who has been dependable in the past to sit.
  23. I just hope FSU and UM both win so that the committee isn't let off the hook and has to make the decision and then justify it.
  24. I don't disagree and it would be totally unfair to leave an undefeated team and Texas out but I don't think the committee cares about fair. At all. Just money. The controversy would just be more publicity. I don't really think it will happen but would not be at all surprised it did.
