    2024 IUFB Schedule

It's still IU football until proven otherwise so I don't expect this to happen, but there are definitely at least 6 winnable games on that schedule.
  2. CCC is said to be a good evaluator of talent and his history seems to back that up.
  3. Sure, if they fly under the radar for whatever reason. Do you really think a player who wins Mr. Football wouldn't have gotten looks? Your link also shows at least 2 P4 schools showed interest but didn't offer. Ringer doesn't even show that.
  4. His offer list isn't very impressive so if IU missed on him so did all of P4.
  5. Top 10 in the nation or top 10 in the B1G? That doesn't look like a top 10 in the B1G backcourt, much less top 10 in the nation.

    IUBB vs #2 Kansas - Saturday, 12.16.23 @ 12:30 on CBS

Yes, he hasn't been playing with the same energy and intensity of his first 3 years. It's most noticeable on defense.

(2023) - SG Jakai Newton to INDIANA

What gets me is that during the season people bemoan lack of talent/depth at a certain position. Then in the offseason when that doesn't get addressed due to missing on players or the coaching staff not prioritizing that position, it's because the returning players were too good and possible replacements were scared off. Happens every year and it never makes sense. Especially when other teams (not just Duke, Kentucky, Kansas) are landing players at positions where they already have talent that is better than IU's while some schools like Duke are stacking talent.' I see that in the football recruiting threads too. Some are saying our chances at landing Tyler Cherry (4* highly rated QB) aren't very good because we just landed Mendoza (unranked QB). What? Really? Might not land him but it won't be because of Mendoza.

The attention to detail shows they take pride in their work and care about making their customers look good. Oh, wait..

It seems like every year since Miller came that IU has an off-season sniper who then can't hit s**t when the season starts. Seeing IU's 3-point defense in action, is it really surprising that Gunn looked good practicing against that?

You guys aren't reading between the lines. "THE TIDES ARE SHIFTING." What does Alabama say? Roll Tide. Obviously, Saban is going to come as an assistant and bring a bunch of Alabama transfers with him.

To bring it back to him, does CCC prefer Coke or Pepsi? Someone needs to be asking these hard hitting questions.

That's what makes not listening even worse. They won't listen to offers from companies that produce a superior product to the companies they currently have deals with. Seriously, though, if the companies know that IU feels this way then there is no way they're giving IU the best deal possible. That would be bad business on their part.

Not even listening to new deals before making up their minds? Bad business.

Right. As the money discrepancy increases between them and the other major conferences, there's no reason to think that'll change. It might actually get worse. My point is that the playoff expanding to 12 teams didn't mean the ACC will be better off.

Sure, an undefeated ACC would get into the 12 team field without issue. However, the ACC will continue to get screwed over in favor of other conferences if the teams aren't undefeated. ACC will probably still have some deserving teams left out for the last spot. It's not as big of an issue as the undefeated conference champion being left out but it'll still be an issue.

For some of the things that might not be perfect about his coaching that you and others have mentioned, he does bring a lot of things that IU has been missing. Game prep is certainly one of them, so having a coach that does that well will be welcome. Same with player development, which is key if IU to ever turn it around since we're not going to be landing tons of talent any time soon.
  20. LCS gives others the benefit of the doubt but not IU.

(2023) - SG Jakai Newton to INDIANA

I hope he's at least paying attention in film sessions and watching practices so he at very least has a very good understanding of the system when he's ready to play. He'll be rusty but understanding what to do would help.

It's not uncommon for P5 schools to bring in multiple QBs in a single class. If he doesn't think he can compete against and beat out Mendoza for the job, it's probably better for everyone.

It was okay when it was a coach at an opposing team but not to be tolerated when the other coach is an employee of UM.

My thought while watching that clip was "what a ******. T him up." He's not tough enough to be intimidating but I guess he doesn't realize that. The ref looks like he's trying to not laugh.
