  1. They give IU an A+. https://247sports.com/longformarticle/big-ten-football-grades-ohio-state-national-championship-berth-usc-regression-highlights-2024-report-card-244041386/#2582124
  2. I did read it. It is the type of thing an employer says about an employee.
  3. Comments like that will be used against the NCAA in court to get the players declared as employees.
  4. I just checked (okay, not really) and the game yesterday didn't change it. It's still a shared award between the two.
  5. With how bad Woodson's teams have shot and their reliance on driving and getting the ball inside, I'm surprised we haven't seen more zones over the years. It says a lot about how well this team is coached that a team going to zone bewildered them.
  6. Are we still worried about him sneaking into the tournament and that saving his job or ... ?
  7. Oh, they just like to come in here and post then complain when someone goes into that post to rip Woodson.
  8. It just means that it wasn't in as bad of a state as it seemed and that Woodson clears the very low bar of being a better coach than Miller. Glad to help you understand.
  9. The Woodson fans need their safe place to talk about his greatness. Odd that that thread is so quiet...
  10. As had been pointed out. Miller likely wouldn't made the tournament the year or was cancelled. So, while this is technically true, it also doesn't accurately represent the state of the program at the time Woodson took over. Woodson inherited a team that had experienced players TJD and Thompson in addition to Galloway and Leal who are still on the team. 3 players who started much of their time on Woodson's teams. If Woodson isn't retained, the next coach won't inherit nearly that much.
  11. Another B1G-SEC matchup, another B1G win.
  12. The men and women both easily beat ranked Michigan. https://swimswam.com/live-recap-indiana-vs-michigan/
  13. Articles on the Staes commitment. https://hoosierhuddle.com/hoosier-blog/tennessee-transfer-tight-end-holden-staes-chooses-iu-for-final-season/2025/1/9?fbclid=IwY2xjawHtKfdleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHUIKcVn5LuBgYYizuWHw0echD0lKCBl4dNhN74AfQJ-XM5dqX_isiaKtIQ_aem_Z1vF93d477zUYdG8xxVMvQ https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-football-lands-commitment-from-tennessee-transfer-te-holden-staes/
  14. Just needs top 50ish result to make the 68 team tournament.
  15. I looked him up. Nice offer list. I hope we can beat out "Quarterback U" Purdue. Lol https://247sports.com/player/brodie-mcwhorter-46134947/
  16. https://hoosierhuddle.com/hoosier-blog/hoosiers-2025-offensive-portal-haul-and-projected-impact/2025/1/9?fbclid=IwY2xjawHs6JVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHZ6JQgx2MFs5alB5XoKBPmUbsKxcg-ZW6NpOJKf3wp4924K_MWGAaChvRA_aem_iX0ir7qR6gQVNFIZ3NqWXA
  17. $3 comes out to less than $10 with fees. So for that ticket they're charging 300+%. More for the fees than the ticket itself.
  18. They had 30 with 5 to go. They must've lit up the bench warmers, scoring 30% of their points in the last 5 minutes. lol
  19. We can remove Rick Barnes from the list.
  20. It's funny. He says, "We love college football. We love stories." IU would've been a great story if that was the case. What you said plus the new coach brought in a bunch of players in from lower level schools. This is at the school which is traditionally bad. Instead the story they decided on was to crap on IU.
  21. Herbstreit getting called out. It's a week old but just showed up in my google news feed. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6030482/2024/12/31/alabama-michigan-playoff-indiana-smu-herbstreit/
  22. He's intentionally misrepresenting what the discussion was. He's now talking about the semi-finals and acting like that was what was being discussed before. It wasn't. It was about who should or shouldn't have even made it into the CFP. Strawman argument by him. Also, he is trying to pretend like they wouldn't take Alabama over one of these schools? Really, we're supposed to believe that? Alabama isn't a big enough brand? Yeah, right. ESPN would take 'Bama over, say, Penn State in a heartbeat. He just has to pretend like they wouldn't since their previous whining backfired so spectacularly after the Tide lost yet another game but to say that they wouldn't love for Alabama to be in one of these games is disingenuous. Who was talking about Auburn in the CFP discussion? No one. They didn't even qualify for a bowl game.
  23. Hopefully it starts going from being in the mix to winning these recruitments. Nice list there.
