  1. We went to Versailles after Paris, palace and grounds incredible
  2. Absolutely. We are now en route via Eurostar to London, meeting up with my Brit cousins (my aunt’s adult children and theirs), and introducing our “brood” — having Brit family is pretty wild and great for our kids (also now young adults)
  3. A few more Paris pics, what a city
  4. Back in Paris 2 decades after first trip here. This city is so freaking amazing, so much to do, so alive, old, new, and beautiful
  5. @Stuhoo saw the nude beach reference and is on the way
  6. Haliburton looks like that next guy since Reggie the P's have been waiting for. Dude's a stud, the waive off to the Cavs fans had me laughing. P's v Knicks should be a really good series. And watch out for OG, healthy, he's a big time load -- makes the series more enjoyable, I hate the Knicks, don't care for Brunson, but OG is one of my favorite NBA players, two-way killer with an outside game, outstanding court awareness, athleticism, skill, the entire package of a two-way player
  7. Moren sees reason to bring her in, I’m looking forward to seeing how she contributes
  8. Her defensive stats at least were pretty decent from what I reviewed. Sounds like bench backup for D, not offense
  9. Plenty of it. Obvious you don’t like him.
  10. Time will tell. McD’s players don’t usually fall apart, but a sh@t coach who runs a front court offense only can turn a good perimeter player into a nonproductive player.
  11. Just my view but need balance. Not just running around every year trying to build whole teams. If DeVries is successful as expected, team builds, you’re going to get loyalty. Not at the level of continuity pre-NIL, but coupled with rewarding key players with good NIL packages, core loyalty. Already see this to an extent in some teams, or look at someone like Chloe on the women’s team. Time will tell on DeVries, but I think we’ll see team building including some really good HS players, and if you don’t do that, you’ll also miss on the occasional next dominant frosh who you otherwise might’ve landed, shooting oneself in the foot out of the gate never a good idea
  12. Hidden and ruined by Woodson’s complete lack of perimeter sets and schemes. Said it earlier whether or not people like him he’s a talented player, he’ll do well elsewhere, he just had a sh$t coach
  13. Good luck to Ballo - he was one who left it all on the floor. And that reply post is 100% class
  14. Correct- tied to his payout. Nonetheless, I’m glad the non-disparagement clause is there, it’s a good look
  15. That was excellent, thanks. Had never heard Jackson’s side of the Malice in the Palace or Reggie’s breakdown of it. Great interview/ talk all around. I was watching that game live at the time (on tv), couldn’t believe it. That team was so clearly locked in for the championship. They were truly stacked in the way Reggie described, such a shame that stupid fan threw that beer on Artest. Crazy to think that an entire championship year can be thrown away by one stupid fan’s conduct. Of course Artest shouldn’t have run up in the stands like that, and my stomach sank as I watched it happen, but the timing, place was a powder keg, Artest had just been separated, a brawl on the floor had just been avoided. Just nuts
  16. He’s already landed several strong 3-point shooters. That box is checked
  17. Saw Reggie’s 8 points in the final seconds to down the Knicks in that historic playoff game. Have never before or after seen 1 player completely demoralize and silence an entire arena like that. Reggie remains my favorite player of all time, partly for that sequence. I love Haliburton’s trajectory as a Pacer and all around elite player. He isn’t the pointedly taunting, disrespectful get under your skin player Regg was, but his level of class while playing elite clutch ball is special
  18. If only he’d do the choke-gesture to spike lee lol
  19. Agree, same reasons I haven’t thought he’d bring in a traditional “rim protector.” Do think we could use another forward and one with defensive strengths, though. But adding Goode if he can get eligible would help overall
  20. Is @Chris007gonna take you to Mother Bears?
  21. But you may still be losing your mind….
  22. Bring some of those gals to IU
  23. Right there with you on this one. Interesting profession, where you can flat out suck for 4 years, underperform with an expensive, talented roster that you brought in, get fired, and then jump back immediately into the professional ranks as an assistant.
