Chuck Crabb Retires
HoosierHoopster replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Thank you Chuck, you are an indelible part of many, many good memories of IU basketball. You will be missed, and never forgotten. -
Seems at best unlikely that Logan would transfer. He didn't come in expecting to play real minutes, just a frosh behind stud vets And don't really see Stewart either. Starts every game, our primary outside threat. Minutes going down (as they should, either for him or Kopp) with more floor time for Galloway, but he was brought in after losing his father and this is already his third program, and he is a significant player under Woodson, in a program clearly on the rise. Really same points for Kopp. These guys are not unhappy, and have no reason to be.

Bracketology and Team Resumes

^^ Remaining 9 Conf is a tough stretch, how we finish is going to determine where we end up (captain obvious point), if we can start that run with a W over Illinois it will go a long way to helping us out. - Illinois - @ NWU - @ MSU - Wisconsin (please slam these clowns) - @ OSU - MD @ Minn - Rutgers - @PU I am optimistically thinking 5-4, but if we just win out at home that's 4-5 for an overall record of 11-9, and I would think that would be good for a 7 seed or better. The games against Illinois and Wisc are big. -

You must’ve missed my little smiley face — just joking with you. Definitely a tough game to call without Rob. They beat Illinois though without their stud, then won on the road ag Rutgers — MD’s guards are scoring better — i’d like to have Rob’s D, others are going to have to step up -

Kind of a hard one to predict. Losing Rob aint gonna help. MD's had some clunkers, lost bad to Rutgers, lost to NWU at home, but then just beat Illinois and Rutgers (on road), convincingly. They're looking a lot better. Meh, I'll predict later.... -
Reading tea leaves, sounds like he's gonna be out for a while whatever the nature of this injury is. That stinks. Hope he can get back sooner rather than later.

I don’t see how Gallloway wouldn’t strengthen the starters. Better D, much better to the rim, moves without the ball better, assists well, more active generally, quicker, and one of our top performers statistically on both sides of the ball. Kopp’s a good 3-point shooter, but he’s not scoring very well on a per minute basis, doesn’t take many 3’s, and he doesn’t do much on the glass or get to the rim well. His D is ok, but not strong.
